Has the power I needed for the reason I bought this machine.... Just a little pricey....
Great little vacuum for car and garage. used it to suck up spiders bugs and webs in garage and windows. Plenty of suction and flexible hose is really long, has some nice attachments too. has wall hook to mount and power cord is 6 to 8 feet long. made in Chicago at altona products USA !!!!! highly recommend and had fast shipping!! Now go buy one!!
bought this vacuum for my son so that he could maintain his apartment and his car that is always park outside. i was really looking for something that i have and used but unfortunately it was not available in their area. i was really surprised how this vacuum performed.... it was way better than the one i got and am very thankful that this is the one bought for my son. the suction is great, the hose is longer that i completed cleaning the staircase while the vacuum remained on the first floor. the only accessory missing is the brush suction attachment. still, i would recommend this product to friends and family.
the Stanley vacuum has excellent suction. There is a good selection of tools included. I like the hoses ability to retract back to make storage a little easier and extending out to 20 ft. enables me to reach all of my garage area without taking it off the wall mount. The polished finish looks good too. Havent used it on any wet applications yet but I'm certain it will perform just fine. overall good purchase
This wall-mount shop vacuum is great. The canister is about a foot in diameter with no wheels, so it's easy to carry in one hand into places that need cleaning. The vacuum hose is nice and long, so you can leave it mounted to the wall for cleaning a medium-sized shop area. The hose is also heavier and more flexible than I expected, which I hope translates into durability (just received it today, so I can't say yet). It's done a good job on the small things I've tried so far.
So far this product is working very well. The 20ft. hose is extremely useful for reaching different areas. It also has great suction power.
I, probably like all of you, used to have a pull-behind shop vac from that big box store. (You know, either the blue guys or the orange guys). Well, I was sick of the short hose, the pulling behind, the awkwardness of carrying it upstairs, and the lack of decent attachments, etc etc. I got this for XMAS (so I have had it about 4 months) and use it at LEAST twice a week and LOVE it. I have used it for sawdust, for drywall dust, for plastic shavings, for chunks of wood, entire car vaccume, sucking out toilets (to replace a float valve), for vacuuming my entire garage floor (oh, and yes, I have this mounted on my wall of my 2 car garage in one corner, the hose STRETCHES TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GARAGE! Of course, its a bit tight, but oh yes, it goes, and I never have to take off the wall.) It's easy to dismount when I need it in the house. The stainless looks cool. The suction is amazing. LOVE IT The ONLY gripe. I do wish the hose was a bit larger in diameter. But you know what, for the convenience of this thing, plus the attachments it comes with... its perfect...
I have this hooked up inside of my enclosed detailing trailer so I can just use the hose instead of carrying around the entire vac. The long hose is a huge plus and a big time saver. Between the stainless steel canister, the long hose, the accessories, and the 4.5 horse power motor, it's a great deal when you look at comparable vacs.
I bought this vac to take on the fly problem in my log home. I had intentions of creating a back pack so I could carry the vac around while I went after flies. But the cord is too short to walk the vaccuum around the house. However, the hose is long and the vacuum has great suction. The only complaint is the latch that opens the canister has a design flaw and falls off the machine frequently. Overall good quality and good machine.
I purchased this product online & it arrived when expected in an unopened, undamaged box - When I tried to install it I could not find the wall mount bracket in the box, no big deal I'll just contact the company & have them ship me a bracket - In the meantime I thought I'd plug it in to be sure it worked as expected - To my surprise when the hose was stretched to close to the maximum length it created a whistling sound that could not be tolerated or stopped until you let the hose go back to an unstretched position or shut the machine off - That was the deal breaker - Walmart took the product back & refunded my money of which I was thankful - Another thing is that the Vac is advertised as a 4.5 Gal. 4.5 peak horsepower but the box indicates it's 4.5 Gal. & 4.0 peak horsepower - I noticed that all the stores that sell this product list it the same - Another thing worth mentioning is there is NO INFO on Stanley Vacs on their website, The Stanley Wet/Dry Vacuums are manufactured by Alton Industries. They are licensed to use the Stanley trademark.
