Needed for school. All other stores were sold out. It arrived in 2 days for half the price of other competitors. GREAT BUY!!!
Most of this book is mired in sadness and tragedy and is painful to read. I'm not sure why you would want to subject any child to this kind of depression and horror. The two good points are that eventually there is some redemption for the lead character and her father and it's a quick read. There are so many better books out there that can teach our children about hope, aspiration, hard work and achievement.
