Highly recommend the dark saber for any kid who loves Star Wars or just swords in general. This toy was the perfect gift for my 10-year-old nephew! I easily ordered it online. It was even larger and sturdier than I expected. The lights are so cool and the sounds aren't too loud.

Love the detail and authentic sounds and light work on the blade. He is very pleased and will get a lot of use out of this. Great product overall.
I love it because I have been wanting hasbro to make the Darksaber ever since the clone wars came out, and it was in Star Wars Rebels, also in The Mandalorian
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this has realistic sounds and when you move the sword. the battle sounds are pretty cool and the lights do well at keeping in sync with the "battles" My grandson has been playing almost non stop with it. The only drawback I can find is the sound are pretty loud, but that is common with most all toys of this type. All children young and OLD, males or females, would find this fun to play with

The sound effects from the sword and the coloring and lights are exactly as expected. My son liked this a lot.

It's durable, it lights up makes different sounds/ light patterns if it hits something, and has a button to make a lightning feature! It is lightweight, easy to handle and the only thing my son said he wished it did was retract like most toy lightsabers do.
Its pretty cool for young uns but I expected the saber to respond more with movement. It seems to just make generally the same sound regardless of position. The kids love it though! Its a good weight and not sharp. Safe for running around and slashing about.

It also has some motion sense and changes the sounds as you swing it or strike something. I was also surprised at how balanced it actually is for a sword. It's pretty hefty. Made me feel like a kid for sure. Totally got this for myself. Haha My only complaint is the placement of the power button. It's located right at the top of the hilt. And it's a large rectangle. Holding it double handed to swing, I kept accidentally turning it off. It's a good placement as far as accuracy in turning it on, but it's too easy to accidentally turn off.
lights up but its so dim that you cant even tell if its on. would not recommend. better off getting it thru the disney store
