Velcro sneakers

These are a very comfortable pair of shoes and were reasonably priced. They are a bit more stylish than the others I've seen advertised elsewhere at a higher price. They solved my problem of getting winded every time I bent down to tie my shoes, and eliminated the pain I feel in my hands, due to Arthritis, when trying to tie laces. Unfortunately, they were not offered in half sizes, so I had to go up to the next whole size which makes them a little big but still okay.

Just right for sporty, casual, getting-around.

Being a Runner for the past 35 years, I am WELL versed on shoes that last for 2000+ miles AND that hold-up to widely adverse conditions and abuse AND that fit and support JUST RIGHT in all of the areas that an individual runner would need: Performance and LONG-lasting with COMFORT and style. THIS shoe is NOT one of those $50 - $250 shoes however!! THIS is a shoe (that LOOKS like a running shoe knock-off) that is just: A comfortable, sporty-type of casual, getting-around, shoe. A shoe that doesn't need to perform or last a heckuva longtime in adverse conditions; but, a nicely-styled, COMFORTABLE shoe, for one to wear around the house OR, doing chores OR, to your son's/daughter's soccer match OR, for a stroll through the shopping-mall/grocery store AND that last more than long enough. And, at the LOW $10 - $15 range; you still get more than you paid for. If your a serious runner; you're going to spend over $200/year on shoes and shoe-accessories. For everyone else (and for all other sporty-type needs) there's: The SSS (The SILVER-SERIES STARTER.) Recommended.

Good but all W's

This is a nice light inexpensive shoe just to go around in but don't think it is for any sort of athletics. My only complaint is the WalMart I got mine from had nothing but wide shoes regardless of the size..8W..9W..10W..etc. I had to have a new pair of shoes by the next morning but didn't really want a W but had no choice at that time.

These shoes fit well if you are looking for a wide width and are inexpensive too. I bought these just to use on my days off work and ended up with two pairs in different colors. I am very happy with them and will buy again.

Great Sneaker for the Price

My husband is an over the road truck driver, and needs comfortable shoes to drive in and be able to change them fast when needed. These sneakers have lasted him over a year... and he wears them daily.... I always keep an extra pair on hand just in case something happens and they get wet from the weather or they just wear out... for the price you can't beat it.... I hope Walmart never stops selling these sneakers!!!

a good value sneaker...

I picked up a pair of these at my local walmart and they fit perfectly. After walking for about 2 miles in them my feet felt a little sore... The insoles are quite hard for a sneaker, but I believe all they would need are a good pair cushioned insoles such as the sport gel insoles...These shoes are good if you need them just for walking or running. A great price at $12.00

These sneakers are nice in style and easy to walk with but they did not last long ----litteraly less than 5 monts.---they started opening up in the front on the sides from the foot movement i guess ( cheap material) then i end up having a hole in the middle top of my front foot, which i don't know how it happened! it was embarassing i was on Metro and looked at my foot and noticed it---.I guess for their price it's fair , you should invest more money and get good quality.

Bad Shoes

I had these shoes for little over a week and they already started falling apart. The Velcro straps have started to fray and wear away at the side of the shoes where they overlap. Plus one of the shoes has already formed a hole in the top of the sole. These shoes are terrible. Do not buy them if you want them to last more than a week.

Poor sole

All shoes with these types of layered foam soles (at least the cheap ones) always start to separate between the hard bottom layer and the soft foam layer at the heel within a few weeks. I bought three pairs of these and EVERY one has started to separate within a month. I now have several useless shoes that have 1 - 2 inch sole separation. Walmart used to carry a velcro strap shoe with a molded heel sole that did not have this problem. (Walmart - please bring those back!) DON'T buy these!!

They fall apart after a month of gentle use

I have been buying these shoes for years and have noticed an alarming trend. Several years ago they were great shoes for the money. Then, they were made by a different company. Now these shoes fall apart after a month. The vinyl coating cracks and peels away from the cloth on the top and the soles crack and break, both at the flex areas at the ball of the foot. This never used to happen, my current pair lasted less than a month and I was only walking in them. The soles pull away from the cushioning at the heels easier than it used to. And the cushioning itself seems to have differences in resilience in the soles of the individual shoes. I find myself sometimes walking on the sides on the heel area. Sometimes to the inside and sometimes to the outside, depending on the shoe. I gave them one star only because this review would not let me give them zero stars.
