These shirts were for my husband to wear under his gear for school. It's VERY comparable to Under Armour brand at a fraction of their price. He loves them!
for the price it is good, but you better order a size larger or even 2 sizes larger.i wear a 1X ordered a 2X still a little bit small next time ill order a 3X maybe it will fit better. and ones body order really clings to the material also. so i would not hang around anyone for a long period of time, the smell might to them
Thanks to all the helpful reviewers previously, I ordered this item 1 size larger than my long sleeve t-shirt size and they fit great. They are tight, and they're supposed to be, but if you order your normal size they likely won't be long enough to tuck into your pants. I rated the "fit accuracy" low because of this. All other aspects are a "5". Under Armour clothing is the most overpriced athletic gear out there, so I was looking for a suitable alternative. I was going to try the Champion C9 line, but they never had any of my size in stock in regular colors. I'm glad I found these. Starter is not your ordinary "generic" brand. I'm pleased with the quality and will likely order some more in different colors soon.
We bought these for outdoor colorguard with a local high school band; who spends most of their Friday nights at cold football games. Keeps the kids warm without bulky layering, should be added with other layers, but looks great!
I am a female teenager in high school who runs on my schools cross country team. When i go to races with my team, we all have to match. That means if one girl is wearing a long sleeved white shirt underneath her uniform, we all have to. And to add to the difficulty we cant show name brand signs, such as Under Amour. I LOVE this shirt. I know, its for men. But no one can tell, its just like under armour and does beautifully on runs. And Walmart's price is unbeatable. I bought two of these, one in black, and one in white. For under armour i would have paid about $90. But with this i only paid $24. I couldn't be happier. And now i have more extra to spend :)
as others have said this runs at least a size or two small. Put it this way, I'm normally ~ 2XL and for undergarments I buy a L because I like them really small under other clothing. With this a 2XL is about equivalent, so if you buy your normal size be prepared for it to be really tight.
fits smaller than size indicates. I am usually a 2x at largest,, 3x in this style of top. very fitted is fine but would appreciate a "v" neck as well. I will say the size "loosens up " a bit after 2/3 washes . Wish there were more colors available and a larger (realistic) size.

The positive is that Walmart's shipping is quick and accurate. The negative is that I normally wear a XXL and this shirt was an XXXL and did not come close to fitting. I will return to the store.
My husband has Lupus and needs to avoid direct sunlight. We have bought more than 20 of the Starter shirts in the store. But white 3x are hard to find. The shirts really work well. The ones we recieved in this order are thinner and smaller. He is still using them - but has to fight to get them on. But I will not order online anymore!
