Comfortable, looks great in our garden, easy to clean, and I was able to put it together myself with no help - and I'm not that handy! I've had compliments from my neighbors who have asked where I got it and were pleasantly surprised by the price. Highly recommended.
I have been wanting a bench for my front lawn forever, and I was certain I'd have to spend alot of money. I found this one online and decided that for the price I could not go wrong. I am so pleased I took the chance. It took five minutes to put together and it looks way more expensive than it actually was. I have already received multiple compliments! To say the least, I am extremely pleased!
This garden bench perfectly met our needs. It's sturdy and easy to assemble. Since it is all metal, it will last a long time in the outside elements. And the pattern for the back is attractive in our outdoor setting. We are extremely satisfied with this product.
This bench is a great little surprise; pretty, solidly made, and economical! I shopped extensively for a bench for my small front porch. The inexpensive wooden ones weather, splinter, and hold less than 250 lbs., so they're not useful for 2 people to sit on together. Other metal/wrought iron benches cost hundreds of dollars for similar sized pieces. Assembly was easy - my teenage daughter and I had it together in 20 minutes. This bench holds my daughter's 230 lb. boyfriend when he takes his boots off before coming into the house - yea!!! I had a party last week and could seat 2 guest on the bench, and they were comfortable - yea!!! The bench was light enough for me to move by myself from the front porch to the screen room for the party - yea!!! Just a shame that a $58 bench cost nearly $30 to ship. It still came out to be a great deal anyway!
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A GOOD METAL GARDEN BENCH FOR A FEW YEARS NOW AND WHEN I SAW THIS ONE IT FIT INTO MY LANDSCAPE PLANS AND IT FIT MY BUDGET AS WELL. MY HUBBY AND I WERE BOTH IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY AND THE VALUE OF THE BENCH. I HAVE BEEN PRICING SIMULAR BENCHES AND NONE OF THEM COME CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OR THE VALUE OF THIS BENCK. THANK YOU JFOR HAVING SUCH A WONDERFUL PRODUCT ABAIABLE. IT WAS SO EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, JUST EIGHT SCREWS WITH NUTS. SIMPLE AS PIE. THE COLOR IS A BLACE METAL WITH A BRONZE FEATHER BRUSH STROKE OVER THE TOP, LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.
For the price the bench is actually pretty nice and sturdy. It has a nice bronze finish and I put it together myself in about 45 minutes. It would have taken less time but I had to loosen and then re-tighten all of the screws so I could get all of the parts lined up properly. On the negitive side, there is not an option to have the bench sent to your local Wal-mart store to be picked up and get free shipping. So the $58.00 bench ended up costing me $92.19 ($28.97 shipping and $5.22 tax).
We are pleased with the bench. It was easy to assemble, HOWEVER it did not come with all the needed hardware. The pictures shown here make the bench appear darker than it actually is - It is not matte black as it appears, but rather black with some brown/bronze overtones. The price was very reasonable, the shipping cost seemed a bit excessive. I did a lot of shopping for this bench for my front porch & this was the best value I found - even considering the almost $30 cost to ship.
This bench is nice. The color isn't all black but a bronze black. Easy to put together, however one of the legs isn't level to the ground so it is kind of rickety. I think maybe we tighten the screws too tight.
The bench looks great and went together easy, but the steel frame needs to be bent to sit on a flat surface. One leg was at least 2 inches shorter than the rest. It would probably be great if placing in an actual garden, but flat porch/patio/deck is a challenge.
Unfortunately, I'd have to agree with those who stated that the legs were uneven. Hopefully, some long evenings of sitting on the bench with my husband will help force all four legs to meet the ground. It's hard to complain, though, due to the unbelievable price!
