Initially a little heavier than expected, but the adjustable goggle strap takes care of that. Phenomenal sound, very comfy, A+ for the battery life. 10/10 would recommend again
The elastic on top the head supports gently. The ear cups cover well with glasses on. Fits a larger head size. Sturdy. And wireless. These were recommended by a friend as we are wearing them a lot these days.
It's great, I like the dual audio. The battery meter is silly. I Need to turn it on while it's charging/plugged in to reset the battery LED meter. If I just charge it and unplug it, the next time I turn it on, the light will blink red or whatever the last color was and it won't refresh even though it's fully charged.
For playstation or pc. Dont buy this model if you have xbox and you want wireless. Battery lasts for about 30 hours actual usage on mine. Great headset and not over-bassed like most gaming headsets.
These are hands down the best pair of headphones Ive ever owned! The sound quality is so good that I heard a knock in something I was listening to and was convinced my friend had just knocked on the wall next to me but thats just how GOOD these headphones are! The microphone quality is great too, I know the mic quality for the Arctis 7Ps and Arctis 7Xs are a little better but the mic on the Arctis 7s is still so good that I do not believe its worth getting the 7Ps or 7Xs just for the mic. The headphones have no latency even wirelessly and that is so useful for gaming and helps keep you immersed in whatever it is you are playing or watching, whether that be a console game, a PC game, a VR game, a movie, a TV show, anything! I highly recommend these headphones to ANYONE looking for a high quality audio experience.
well compatible with the PS4 and other game consoles the mix chat feature is only available on PC. And with times you will be in a party chat there are times you want to delegate which audio should be prioritize over another without pulling out a menu to do so. And reverting back in a convenient switch or dial like the PS4 gold or Turtle Beach Headsets. Also the 7.1 surround sound only works on the PC, thus rendering this headset for anything other than PC to be no better than 40 dollar console headset.
Everyone I knew warned me that the charging port would go bad. I assumed it was just unlucky. Nope. Within 7 months it will no longer charge unless you hold the wire just right while there's a quarter moon in retrograde. This is with normal use and without any ripping the cord out or jamming it in. Because of the warnings of my friends, I tried as hard as I could to be careful with it, but it still biffed it 7 months in. But the sound quality is good. The Sonar feature is amazing and really enhances the surround sound of the headset. The comfort is perfect for me and the ability to adjust the volume mix on the headset itself is awesome. If only it would actually charge.
Expected more from these. Sound is flat very midrange. I used with PS4 so did not connect to pc to set up sound preference. Have the TB Stealth 700 next gen compared to them the sound is just not there. Everything else about the article 7 is very nice. Very light very comfortable. Just don't have the sound I was expecting
So i've had these for just over a year and now they have started losing wireless connection. Some days its fine, others its non stop. nothing has changed around me, same ol stuff that i have had since day one. So i know its the headset crapping out. Looks like these will be a back up option as i go out and buy a Corsair Virtuoso tomorrow. Shouldn't have to be replacing these so early. I cant recommend this headset to anyone just due to the fact that they basically look, feel and sound brand new. no other issues.. but even with all that.. i cant use them if the signal wants to drop out randomly. its becomes annoying to hear my sound go scratchy and hear beeps in my ear while it connects and reconnects.
I have owned these headsets before and they're terrific. So I decided to order another pair since mine just broke (user error). The order came in and were definitely used. The headset ear cups are supposed to be wrapped in plastic and as showed in the photo no plastic and there was dirt on the headset along with smudges on the adapter. I bought 2 pairs this time the other for my little brother. They just arrived today and before I even opened them the package label seems to have been tampered with. I'm not even opening them out of fear this pair was used as well. Returning both and purchases from Best Buy where I know I'll definitely get a brand new pair in store. Be careful when buying from here they may come in previously open and used.
