[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to audio/video, to each their own and everyone has their personal preference. After having owned/tested several high end gaming headsets, I have to say that my vote goes to these Arctis Nova Pro wireless headsets. The design and the quality of these headsets are amazing. They fit my ears perfectly, have a luxury feeling and are very comfortable to wear even for a long period of time. I found the sound, both high and low to be quite awesome on all kind of gaming and even music. The Bluetooth feature is great as I was able to connect the Arctis to my phone in seconds and enjoy music when I am not gaming. When it comes to the noise cancelling feature, I have to say that it was pretty good, leaving me with a very clear sound even when there is a lot of noise around me. Using these during my gaming sessions is awesome as not only the audio is very clear but the people on the other end can hear me clearly as well. I really love how the microphone can retract inside the headset. But I have to say that the best part of these Arctis Nova Pro is to me, the very impressive battery life that puts all the other big name brands to shame as they lasted me 3 entire day without having to recharge them and if I ever run out of power, all it takes is 10 seconds to swap the battery with the extra one that comes in the box and I am set for another 3 days. The base station/multi-system receiver is also quite awesome as it not only let me easily swap between my consoles, let me change the EQ settings but also has a slot to charge the extra battery. All in all, these are now my new favorite gaming headsets and it goes without saying that they get a perfect score from me. Steelseries did an amazing job on those.
this is actually my 4th Steel series headset. i will not buy anything else. they are so sturdy yet comfortable. not to mention the sound quality. amazing. and now with the sonar program it makes it even better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality of this headset is amazing. The earpads are really soft and I don't feel any pressure even when using these for 2-3 hours at a stretch. The build quality is great and they feel very premium. The mic is really good and I like that it can be pushed neatly into the headset when not using it. Wireless connections are solid and I did not see any connection or latency issues. It also has a swappable battery that you can quickly change out without any downtime.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband just love these Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. It has Sonar Software, It has awesome Active Noise Cancellation, keeping you immersed. I can also connect to two systems and swap between them, never stopping to charge. It also has the dual-battery Infinity Power System. We just love this....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own other Steelseries headphones and this one is definitely more high tech and higher quality than my previous sets. I love the technology that comes with it. There is a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to use everything, but it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it. I like that the microphone is retractable. At first I didn't even notice it and thought that it didn't come with one, but after viewing the booklet that comes with it I finally realized it was retractable. These headphones definitely have high quality audio and I love that you can pair it with multiple devices. All in all, high quality and I definitely recommend it!
Overall, dont get me wrong, this is a solid headset. Decent audio, a decent microphone, and it has features that a few other headsets don't offer (i.e, the spare battery) i dont believe it is worth the price. they're a little bit compressing to the ears, so it hurts me after about 2-3 hours of wearing the headset. i personally enjoyed my previous 2 higher-end Turtle Beach headsets more. more comfortable, similar sound quality and mic quality for a 3rd of the price. also, the plates on the side of the headset are made of this AWFUL material and when you touch it i can only describe the feeling as similar to a fork on chalkboard. dont touch the side plates.
Honestly I wanted to like this headset, after having the arctis Pro Wireless for 4 years and having the band cut out, I said why not I'll buy the newer version. Was a mistake, first off, the spare battery layout for the headset which is the primary reason I went with this one over the countless other wireless headsets out there, is so annoying to take the cover off of, the arctis Pro Wireless I could while it's still on my head take the battery panel off pop the new battery in put the panel back on, this new one basically requires you to take the headset off find where the hole is with your finger and take the cover off which makes it more annoying to change the battery on and then my biggest complaint, the Nova Pro Wireless requires you to use sonar for Channel control, meaning that instead of it having two built in different channels that you can choose which application goes to which channel and then use the balancer built in on the headset to balance between channels; you now have to install steelseries GG enable sonar which adds a middleware in between your programs instead if actually having it go through your headset, all of your sound now has to go through sonar then the headset. this would be perfectly fine if sonar worked, but it's supposed to be able to detect when your headset is on versus off(to change to your speaker), it does not work well, it believes that your headset is on at computer power on, meaning all audio goes through a powered off device instead of your speaker which is annoying. Then in the week that I've had this headset so far I've had to hard reset both the base and my headset three times because the mixer wheel button has stopped responding to the program meaning I can't move move the channel mixer back and forth, the old system didn't require this you only had to have the headset set up on the computer and then you could jump back and forth between your chat and your game channel. then there's the feel of the headset, now this could just be me not used to the headset yet much like how the buttons are however I don't like the overall feel of how it is on my head, and the active noise cancellation that it has works somewhat, but considering that it's an over ear headset, I expected far more than what it provides I can still very clearly hear anyone around me or my equipment around me. TLDR; - bad layout(both battery and buttons) - unreliable software/driver set - bad ANC - same audio quality as the old model - expensive better range longer battery life has the ability to swap between 3 devices concurrently (line 1, 2 and a Bluetooth device) All In all, while I'm not going to be returning this headset because it does work for what I want it for, and it is nice. if the arctis Pro Wireless is still on the market when you read this review, save yourself the $70 to $100 and just buy the old model, given my experience with both of them, I feel the old model was vastly superior.
Ordered the product twice got delayed both times spent 2 weeks trying to get the wireless version and all I kept on getting was the wired version don't waste your time trying to buy this cheaper version such a big waste of time spend your money on the more expensive one and you'll get the right one the first time
It does not mention that it doesn't support chat mix on ps5. They leave that part out. After spending almost 400$ on the supposed best headset I now know it cannot be voted best for ps5 if it doesn't support chat mix or have a work around for that. Customer service I've was very short and unhelpful. Just said it won't support it. Would not answer my question about adjusting headset while on pc and saving settings for when I connect it to ps5. Other platforms may be great. Ps5 ? No. Also low volume even when turned up high and gain in high.
I bought this product as “new” and it came to me with hair on it and dandruff all over it. I requested a refund and I shipped it back to them where they told me the item was returned with missing parts. Which is False I called walmart to get my refund and since I bought it with gift cards they said that the money can't come back and I basically burned 320 dollars. Do NOT buy from these people.
