It was really tasty and as good or better than one you would get at a pizza place.
Easy to make, quick.
I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW GOOD THE MEATBALL CALZONE WAS. I WILL BUY IT AGAIN.
First off, I am not good enough or patient enough to cook, so quick meals is my specialty, and I can't thing of anything more tasty that can be cooked in under 2 minutes. The philly cheese steak one is my favorite, but they're all good. Highly recommended
2.5 stars Meatball and sauce flavors are good, but the dough is just so wrong for a calzone. If the dough actually had any flavor, I could forgive that. Also, IMO all calzones should have some ricotta in them regardless of what else they have inside. Ricotta and better dough would improve this product.
This could be good but it was mostly bread. Not enough stuff in the middle. Hardly any.
Let me begin by stating that I DID NOT eat the Meatball Calzone. I just ate the Cheese Steak Calzone. However the Cheese Steak Calzone was not listed online and I felt it really important to get the word out. I love Cheese Steak. I love it in a sandwich or an omelet or a pizza. So when I saw the Stefano Cheese Steak Calzone in the counter at my Neighborhood Walmart I had to try it. I thought "this will be great to have tonight between football games and it will be quick to prepare. It was not great, it was not good, don't eat this. If it had peppers and onions in it I did not see them or taste them. But I thought I'd eat it anyway. I wish I hadn't. I encountered two little grizzled balls of meat and over all it was a total disappointment. I love shopping at my Walmart Neighborhood store. Lots of bargains and good things to eat. I got some great grapes today. But this product does not measure up. Avoid it.
