I purchased this same mailbox 17 years ago it would still be standing if a truck hadn't backed into it. and cracked the base. Very Durable
I always have preferred the look of plastic over metal and wood. They are suppposed to hold up better in winter too. We'll see how it goes!
Had one for over 20 years had to replace because car ploughed into it
