I bought this for my 3 year old for her birthday. She absolutely loves this playhouse. Her 13 year old sister & 10 year old brother have been in it & her brother plays in it with her all the time. They have plenty of room to play. She will be able to play in this for many years to come. I did get the square cement stepping blocks & the Step2 Playmats for the flooring. That make it softer and where it's not on the ground. I would highly recommend this to anybody. It was very easy to put together. I think you or more importantly your little princess would be very pleased with this house.
The playhouse is adoreable and my granddaughter loves it. I only wish it were a bit larger and had some kind of floor, even if only a temporary floor. You must place it over something other than grass in order to prevent all kinds of bugs from getting trapped inside. But it is the cutest!
We looked at literally every store that sells playhouses and settled on this one, it was a bit more expensive then we wanted to spend but glad we did. It is much bigger than the others we saw in store, which is good for us. We have a 3 year old and one on the way and they will both be able to play in here comfortably for years. Big plus is the free site to store shipping. Shipping on other sites is ridiculous! So that is a HUGE factore. Definitely worth the money to get this one!
We bought for our 2 year old and she loves it.pretty spacious , my husband and I can seat inside . The box it's pretty big , so you definitely need a pick up truck with a Wide bed to pick up . We are going to keep it inside so she can play with It all year long :)
This is a very well made and really cute playhouse. It has a door bell, that rings and a Wall mounted Phone that rings. My grandaughter really loves it.
i researched this and 2 other possibilities for at least 3 mos b4 finally deciding on this one. i read so many mixed reviews about this one and others esp about size. i am going 2 tell the final truth about the size of this playhouse....my 2 girls,ages 2 1/2 and 4 can both fit inside with many toys and even 2 chairs with still plenty room to move around and play. i could even fit their fold out table inside with the chairs but that wdnt leave room to move around much. they take dolls inside and play,they use the flip around stove as a play table as well,to set toy computers as well as dishes and etc. they arent in the least bit cramped inside even with all that stuff. its by far taller than the others at similar price as well. i am totally satisfied with my choice. it was a little harder to put together than i thought it wd be bcz some of the holes werent pre-drilled,but we got it together and its sturdy and big. i will be buying rubber tiles to go under it when it is moved outside in the spring.
We got this for my almost 2 y/o daughter. She absolutely loves it. The assembly was easy, took about 40 minutes. The colors are bright, and the details are nice. It has a working doorbell, and window shutters that open and close. The flower box is removable so you can put it in either window. I wish the flower box came with some play flowers as pictured, because its tricky to get any fake flowers to stay in the box, as the inside of the box is not deep enough to anchor the stems. But she puts little toys in the window box instead so it's okay. Also, I wish the door knob was on both sides of the door, but there's only a doorknob on the front of the door as pictured. The house is roomy inside, big enough that I or my husband can fit in there and play with her. We are all very happy with this purchase.
Very cute playhouse-spacious enough for at least three. My almost four yr old is tall, and she has plenty of room to stand up. The roof was a little tricky to snap in place and screw in, but I was able to set the whole house up in about an hour. Very fast shipping site to store.
I purchased a Step 2 Sweetheart Playhouse from Walmart. It arrived yesterday and after putting it together and looking at the picture on the step 2 website, walmart's website and the image on the box it came in, the images on the websites and the step 2 box that the playhouse came in are not accurate. The front door that I received has a mail slot. From what I have found online, this is an older version of the front door and the newer version does not have the mail slot. That isn't that big of a deal; however, the color of the shutters really bothers me. They were supposed to be hot pink in color, matching the front door. However, the shutters I received are a light pink and are no where near the same in color as the hot pink front door. Again, the images on the box I received and on the website are not consistent with the product I received. Overall, the playhouse is pricey but my daughter loves it.
well i mean this is very very cute, dont get me wrong, but it could be bigger for the price. i mean for 300 bucks you would think it could be alot bigger! my daughter hardly plays in it, all there is inside is a flimsy little clock that the hands wont stay in place and a phone, that isnt very loud. the door bell works good, cute also. i looove the shutters, so does my daughter, the little grill thing is ok, there isnt any room to put anything else, like toys, inside cause its too small. i was a little disapointed in the size, but i will be keeping it. i think you are mostly paying for the looks of it, because it is cute. i looked for weeks on which one i wanted to get, finally got this one because i couldnt afford the naturally playful HUGE one, i wish i couldve now! this one measured bigger than the rest, for the price, so i can only imagine how small the others are!
