The Step-2 Tag Along is the perfect companion for the Step-2 wagon. While the wagon is spacious enough to allow ample room for two children, the Tag Along is large enough for a trip to the grocery store, laundromat, etc, on the outing. A person can put the laundry in the Tag Along, load a picnic basket into the Step-2 wagon along with the children, and make what would normally be a laundry drudgery into a fun excursion.
We got this for our girls for their birthdays, ages 4 and 1, along with the Step2 Wagon for 2 plus. It was a hit!! By far the best present they got! They loved it! They immediately started loading the trailer with food and toys, just to go around the block! Both the wagon and the trailer are very sturdy products! easy to pull and maneuver. The wagon is nice and roomy! Would definitely recommend this! two thumbs up!
We have the step 2 wagon with this tag along trailer. We have only used so far once at mall and worked great. We purchased to use at amuzement parks instead of double stroller. I am a little concerned about when my girls fall asleep how they will lay down in wagon. But think we may have the child that's awake to be in the trailer and the other to lay down in wagon with things on bottom to lye on. We will see how works soon
We've used this to go to the park and to go to the local Farmers Market. This trailer is great because you can put things back there - out of reach from the little ones in the wagon iteself. This was a little challenging to connect to the wagon... the instructions were a little difficult - but once you figure it out on your own, its a snap.
great for little children!! great add on to Step 2 wagons. I had this tag along trailer years ago for my own daughter. I purchased this one for my grandchildren. It is durable!!
I love this product because we have a radio flyer plastic wagon and i was worried that the hitch system wouldnt work with our radio flyer, but it did. This trailer comes with a hitch system that works with our radio flyer, im not sure if it works with every plastic wagon, but it fits more then just step 2. Its a great place for a cooler and other odds and ends. It is fairly roomy. a great product i would totally recommend.
My Mother bought the wagon and this tag along for my sons first birthday. The tag along is great, the only thing I would have changed is the length on the arm for the attachment. The arm for the attachment could have been a little longer, it doesn't take sharp turns to well and rubs against the wagon and the wheels drag until you straighten out the wagon. Its fine on a straight path and on wider turns but if you have to take a tight turn it drags and rubs. I still love having the extra storage for his wagon and its secure when attached.
I recommend this product to any one with kids. We used it on our recent trip to put ice chest, diaper bag, and small toys for the kids in. It was great. backs up and turns easy that is what I was worried about. Get it it is great!!
a little bit hard to get on and off. very wide turns which is a little annoying when your at a 90 degree turn on a sidewalk. definitely would not use on a sidewalk in a busy area. Took this to the zoo though where the walkways are wider, it was perfect. Had lots of parents asking where I got it as well. Make sure you buy this at the same time as your wagon so the colors dont fade and look mismatched. Very light and doesnt add much weight to towing along extras. Perfect for taking a cooler or big diaper bag for a walk.
This trailer, the Tag Along Plus from Step 2, is made of the same quality material and wheels (EVA) as the wagon. Overall, I believe it is a good purchase to use in conjunction with the wagon when going on family outings to locations such as the zoo or an amusement park. It seems to be very durable, was easy to assemble, and attaches securely. However, it is inconvenient that it is only available online and (even with local pickup) this trailer cost me only $5 less than the wagon itself. You obviously get a lot less product for the price. The trailer is also smaller than I thought (less than half the size of the wagon). I had originally purchased a red wagon, but had to return it since Step 2 told me (via phone call) that all red trailers have been discontinued and only green is still manufactured. Also, the trailer hitch comes with two sizing pieces to fit both the single and double wagons. However, you have to be careful how tight you attach the screw to hold the hitch. Too loose and the trailer attachment will flex up and down. Too tight and the trailer will be VERY difficult to attach and detach from the plastic clasps rubbing together. Overall a very good product, although overpriced in comparsion to the wagon itself.
