I just gave this house to my grandchildren 1 & 2 ( brave parents!) and they love it. Small enough inside for the 1yr to be able to hold on as she walks around yet big enough for them to both be in at the same time. 2yr old loves to grill like daddy. Lots of ventilation so no problem with too much heat buildup and best of all (my husband would say) was the easy setup. It took him and my son about 30 min tops to put it together. One person could do it easily as most parts just snap together then with one or two screws to add a little more stability. Parents love it too. Big winner!!
Granddaughter loves it to play house and entertain
The product came in about a dozen large pieces. It was very easy to put together, especially using a power drill instead of a screwdriver!! My daughter is 1 1/2 and loves it! She loves the working doorbell and the kitchen area. She also enjoys sitting on the bench. It comes with a ketchup/mustard bottle and three grill tools. I wish it would've also came with some play food for the grill and some play pots/pans for the stove, but we will have to buy those seperately. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase!!!!
This is such a great playhouse! Easy to assemble and our son loves it. We know we will get many years of use out of it.
Even though this playhouse is expensive, you can't put a price on your grandchildren having loads of fun! Our 2 granddaughters, ages 4 and 20 months are having so much fun, you can just see their little minds working with lots of imagination. The playhouse is easy to assemble, and it's very sturdy. The only thing that is missing is a refrigerator to put the pretend steaks, hamburgers, and hot dogs in, otherwise it's perfect. I definitely see years of enjoyment.
My 3 year old daughter loves her little house! The grill is a huge hit, she is constantly cooking for her company. My daughter is always asking me to play in the house with her so the fact that I can easily fit inside the house (enter by the grill) is a huge bonus for me!! Great deal, easy to assemble, easy to move around the yard. :)
After watching my granddaughter playing in a Step 2 playhouse at a friend's house, I decided it was time she should have one of her own. Her grandfather and I shared the cost making it more affordable. She loves it! The day after it arrived and was assembled, she woke up and her first words were PLAY HOUSE! She has spent numerous hours playing in it with her baby dolls!
The carton needs hand-holds built in. The carton is a bit large to be handled comfortably without them. The attachment of the first piece of roof should be modified. The angles of the retaining screws are awkward and difficult ti install.
Assembled by myself in less than 1 hour (small female/not so handy). This is a replacement playhouse to a cedar cottage that was a nightmare to put to together and then blew away in a windstorm (crashing into a hundred pieces). This playhouse is sturdy and looks very cute. The bench was broken out of the box and the sink/counter area seems to sag a bit. It's just the height for kids to lean/sit on. Great value. I never thought I would buy one of these hard plastic playhouses but I really like it way better than our previous and more expensive wood cottage.
My 3 yr old loves this! I love how it has built in seating and 2 cook areas (stove and grill) so The kids don't have to fight over it. My only complaint is that my husband had to file down the holes where the chimney attaches and where the doorbell fits in.
