This is the best wooden play kitchen I have ever seen! We purchased the kitchen for our 5th child who is turning 2. She loves cooking for everyone! She enjoys the stove top and having cabinets to store all of her yummy food and dishes. The kitchen is very sturdy and seems to be durable. My husband was able to put the kitchen together in a little over 6 hours. We highly recommend purchasing this wooden play kitchen from Walmart!
Best part about it is that its big enough to stay put once set up!
My kids love it!! Very sturdy. A bit time consuming to put together, but well worth it!! Be careful when removing wooden pieces from box ...little numbers stickers needed for assembling might fall off...then you're left guessing on a few pieces, but's it's pretty much common sense. Extremely happy with my purchase.
I am pretty stoked that Step2 has a non-plastic based kitchen set. I'm genuinely impressed! The color scheme is aesthetically pleasing. For kids, this set provides a realistic experience as if they're in a real kitchen and the best part is they can play in it. It's big enough that several kids can play at the same time and not feel like they're imposing on each other's spaces. This becomes a relief when you have multiple kids at home. One thing I noticed, but may have missed it, was the stove didn't make the "bubbling" or "sizzling" sound when you place a pot/pan on the stove top. I think kids love that added sound effects; however, I'm sure the kids can make their own "cooking" noises. Overall, this is a great product especially to consider for the Holiday as a present. Given this set has multiple parts and through experience, I'd say make sure that all the pieces are there and to follow instructions closely. The end result of seeing the kids' big smiles will surely be a reward.
If you're looking for a great kitchen set for a child, this is a great choice. There are several details to the kitchen that make this a great purchase including storage space and sturdy foundation. There is a built in "oven" with several storage areas for play food and other accessories. Hooks that are propped for kids to hang their utensils. Definitely keeps the look tidy. There is a goose-neck faucet that is built-in the kitchen. It's not your average faucet for a pretend kitchen. There is a pretend "electric stove" for "cooking" Although, I do have to mention how large this set is. It is a walk-in kitchen so keep that in mind when purchasing. Also, it's about 4 ft tall. Based on the material, I would say that this set is sturdy and durable for outside/inside play.
First impression: This kitchen is a close replica of any modern kitchen, especially the one at our house complete with kitchen sink, counter, microwave, oven, fridge, burners, pots, and pans. The kitchen is made of wood and plastic material where a child can easily open and close the doors and drawers, access kitchen items and mimic what their parents do in the kitchen. Kid tested: I brought my 2 year old daughter in to play with the kitchen set and she immediately taken that the kitchen was made in her size. She grabbed a pot and went to the sink to fill the pot up with imaginary water. She was fascinated with all the pots and pans hanging above her, easily navigating her way to the fridge and open and closed all the drawers, even putting a pan on the stove - all the things she sees me do on a daily basis but too small to access. Mother approved: I have always hesitated to get her a kitchen since they were all built on one-sided. Being that we lived in California, I'm afraid that the kitchen might fall on her if she tugs at it the wrong way or if there's an earthquake. This unit doesn't worry me since its built as a U-shape design and sturdy construction. There are so many different elements of this kitchen that will keep my daughter entertained for years to come. Especially since my 2 year old is at an age of doing-what-mommy-does to learn. Definitely worth the investment. Occupy your child for hours? This is a thoroughly complete and high-quality play set for your budding "Top Chef". This set differs in that it is U-shaped in order to encapsulate the chaos and to ensure that pieces don't go amiss. The design is one that would support very young (2 years?) to much older (10 years?).
This child's U-shaped kitchen set is an excellent choice! My first impression was that it was very life-like and realistic, only made for a small child. The quality is great and the set is very sturdy and detailed. The set feauters an oven, fridge, glass stove burner, sink with faucet, a breakfast bar, and additional accessories. There are hooks above the breakfast bar with spatulas, spoons, and more. What I like most is that there is so much detail to the set, such as a towel holder, drawers, a microwave, and shelves along the side so your children can store more accessories. It is very well crafted and will be every child's dream. The refrigerator is see-through and has a functioning door that opens and closes. To me, it seems like a perfect place for your child to store books on each shelf or their own snacks. Also, the cabinets all have see-through plastic windows that allow your child to peep through, and still are safe and durable. All the handles and doors are functional in this kitchen play set so there is tons of room for storage. With all the appliances, accessories, and more, this is the best quality kitchen playset I have seen. What the kids will love most is that the fridge, oven, and microwave all are see-through so they can see what is cooking up inside or see the food choices before picking them. Kitchen playsets have come a long ways since I was a kid. I remember having a plastic play set that wasn't very realistic. This one is much more durable and more fun for the kids. Just to note, the set is pretty large in size so it will take up a bit of space. It is almost 4 ft tall and a little over 4 feet wide. It requires assembly, but is definitely worth it for the quality. What better way to decorate your child's bedroom than with this cute set. This is definitely a high end play set.
The Grand Walk In Wood Kitchen is a great way for children to be a "chef" or mimic their parents cooking! The size is in scale with a younger crowd. The high build quality and wooden construction makes this a great option. The kitchen comes fully stocked with a great range of pans and utensils. The faucet has discrete notches while the stove provides a realistic faux flame. The cabinets all have a clear plastic to view inside while providing the safety and durability of a plastic vs glass cover. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to friends and family alike. My kids absolutely love it. It took my hubby about 5 hours to put together. He took a few breaks in between. My twin 6 year olds played for hours when he got it done and even my 14 year old teenager got In on the fun. The only bad thing was the shipping time. It took almost 3 weeks to get it. Was supposed to be a Christmas present, we told the kids it was To big to fit on Santa's sleigh so his elves were delivering it later. Overall very pleased with this kitchen. It's absolutely HUGE!!!
