Very sturdy and cleans well...wish it held a few more toys....it wasn't as large as I thought. The lid that slides up and keeps from dropping back down is a nice safety feature though to keep hands and heads from getting hurt. I would recommend it, but would recommend two instead of one since the sliding lid does take a lot of the depth of the box space away.
I bought this item for my 1 yr olds room. The colors are perfect and it holds a lot more toys that I had expected. The best part of all was that I did not have to put it together. When I took it out of the box, it was ready to put in his room. This is a must have item for any childs room.
I am very pleased with the storage chest, it reminds me of the little Tyke chest I purchased for my daughters when they were toddlers. Very durable, easy for my grandson (20 months old) to get his toys by himself. The shelf is very handy for any easy to reach toys.
Purchased this for my 8 mos daughter....I love the size and that it holds so many toys....It's very safe and she's able to pull up on it without it tipping over and there is no lid to smash her little fingers....Also like the shelf on top....nice for putting larger toys...she can still reach them....best part is it comes fully assembled and ready to go... Couldn't find one in any retail store within 100 miles of my house....so had it site to store and it took less than a week...I picked it up on a regular shopping trip...
This product is big enough with a lot of space for my son toys. It has the shelf on top for bigger items that will not fit inside! It is also small enough to fit in the corner without taking up alot of room. I will be ordering another one in a few months for my baby girl!
I love this product. I bought it for my son and it has been one of the best products I have bought for my son. Before all of my sons toys were spread out across the house and now it is in one central location and he is able to access it easily.
I got this for my 1 yr old and she loves it. After reading many reviews (mostly they stated it was smaller than they expected) I wasn't dissappointed. I like that the lid slides up out of the way so no pinched fingers. It holds alot of her toys, and I like the shelf on the top for some of her stuffed animals. I suggest wiping it down when you take it out of the box, it had alot of plastic dust covering it and piled inside. Good product for the money.
This is a very nice toybox. Not as big as I hoped it would be. I liked the idea that the lid will not fall and hurt the little hands, head, arms, etc. I bought this one for a grandson, I think his little brother will also get one for his birthday as well.
We have purchased lots of things from both Little Tikes and Step2. I like this toy chest the most, b/c....(1) no assembly req'd, (2) for a plastic toy chest, it is more stylish than what we expected, and (3) it is just the right size and easy to use. We will buy few more as the toys seem to multiple quickly like rabbits around the house.
perfect size for a small bedroom. my son keeps his stuffed animals in it. big enough for him to sit on the top of it and it supports his weight, he is 3. Don't expect to put alot of stuff in it, but does hold enough to get rid of some clutter. overall I'm happy with this purchase.
