This toy box is very sturdy and it holds a lot of toys. It is nice because the lid won't pinch the kids fingers, but it is very easily removed. I have removed completely to keep the kids from playing with the lid. I did a lot of research on toy boxes and this is a great product at a good price.
This thing is pretty great! There are no other toy chests on the market for this price and this size. I was at first looking for a wood toy chest, but they were all so expensive and the reviews for the cheaper ones were horrible, so I looked at this one, made of plastic and canvas. It was extremely easy to put together and whats great about it is the front is expandable because its fabric and not plastic like the rest of it. It lets you fill more toys than you think! I fit all of my son's toys in this and I can't imagine not having it. Before, my son's toys were everywhere and now they stay in there and he grabs what he wants. It's so easy to clean up toys :) I highly recommend this toy box. The only downfall, and only one so far, is that it comes in just one color - green and red. Otherwise, it's perfect!
I searched online for a nice toybox that would last a few years. I wasn't interested in the wood boxes (which are so expensive)because I was afraid my 20 moth old boys would slam each others fingers with the lid, and I didn't want a permanant cover because they are soo into climbing (and falling!) I like the cloth front and back and it's really a big toybox. I just leave the top off. It holds all of their toys with room to spare, and they like to climb in it too!
This is a very sturdy, well made item. The hard sides and lid are a very sturdy, molded plastic and the posts are steel. The fabric that makes the interior is a really good, almost tent like material and expands beautifully with the addition of toys in the box. The velcro clasp on the pockets was a welcome surprise. This is a great product and holds alot of toys and other kids things.
Purchased for GS 1st birthday...he loves it, his mom loves it....nice color, durable, well made, easy for him to get toys.
I am very happy with this toy box. It holds a lot! I think the pockets on the front are a great idea. Right now since my son is young I like that I can take the top off. I take it off and slide it behind it out of the way and then he can reach in and I don't have to worry about it falling on his fingers.
I love this toy box. I don't have to worry about my 2yr old daughter hurting her fingers, holds lots of toys, very sturdy, and easy to put together. Only thing is I wish the lid was held on by something it really only sits in a groove but, thats not a big deal. Also the thing is bigger then it looks but that is awsome.
Fast and simple assembly. I mean 8 screws and 4 pieces of velcro what more can you ask for. took my husband all of 5 minutes to put together. Looks great in my daughters playroom and is perfect for all of her not used toys. she even plays with the actual toybox its self. I would say buy 2 if you are thinking about it.
I am very happy with this product, it's even bigger than what I pictured in my head and very easy to put together. I only have two problems with it that are more of minor issues than anything. I wish it were heavier so that my 1 year old would be unable to push it around and I wish that there was some way to have the top secured on (the "hinge" is just an extension of the plastic that sits in groves on the base, it is not secured in with bolts or anything so the top comes off very easily)
