What a wonderful little car for a toddler (14 mos) as soon as my grand son saw this, he climbed right in and started playing. Son-in-law said it was easy to put together which is a plus! Glad I bought the coupe.
I purchased this product for my 20 month old grandson for when he is visiting me for a couple days at a time. He took to it the instant he saw it and spent two solid days getting in and out, honking the horn, taking his "babies" on rides with him in the house, and in general - just thoroughly enjoying himself. I definitely recommend it for toddlers. It has been a fantastic addition to our collection of things to do while visiting grandma.
We received this item years ago for our son who is now 23. We recently purchased this for our grandson and he loves it as much as his dad did! Great toy! Wish we had kept Dad's to hand down to him. Maye this one will be handed down to his son or daughter. These toys last a lifetime! Great gift!
This is a gift for my 8 months baby and I know that he is too small to use it. But my 3 1/2 years boy use it and he loves it. He is a little tall and fits verry well. He use it most of the time in doors and he can go all arround the house (small house) with out a problem.
My daughter LOVES this! The first day we put it together she was in the whole rest of the day and suddenly was saying the word "car" all the time when she hadn't said that word before (she's 17 months). Every day since then (a week ago) she looks out the back door and says car pointing at her new car. She loves the horn, the steering wheel, and opening and closing the door. She "drives" the car all over our backyard. This was definitely a great purchase.
My grandson is only one and this was his big present for his first birthday. He climbed right in, put his arm out the window and started beeping the horn. He did slide out of it twice but the car is high enough that he was not hurt. Putting some ridges or roughness on the seat might help with that. Also, it would be nice if the door has some sort of latch or catch. I comes right open when he leans on it. Other than those two minor things, he loves the car. It was a good purchase.
I bought this for my 14 month old daughter thinking she would grow into it by summer time. To my surprise, she fell in love with it before it was even fully assembled! She loves to climb in, close the door, honk the horn, then climb out and start all over again. She is still too short to touch the ground, so relies on me to push her around. In the two weeks we've owned this little car, she has played with it more than any other of her toys. It was definitely a purchase well worth the money. The only complaint I have is that the roof pieces are really difficult to hold in place while screwing them together. As others have mentioned, there are no holes to help get the screw going. We ended up assembling the roof first and then popping it onto the car. Also, the horn that was supposed to play musical tunes was just a regular "beeping" horn. I called Step2 and was told that some cars were sent out with the wrong part. I received my replacement horn within a week of calling.
my grandson loves this. He is only 15 months old and he plays with this car all the time. He loves to beep the horn and ride around the house in it.
My 1 year old son loves this car. Really my only complaint is that the horn doesn't play the "tunes" as it suggests, it only honks. I paid a good $20 more for this particular car because I liked the idea of the music. Other than that, so far it has been great.
The car came damaged, the entire steering wheel was in pieces. I ordered this 2 weeks before christmas and left it in the box until christmas eve because it was intended to be a gift from Santa and with small children I didnt want to put it together because of the element of Santa surprise, much to my own surprise it was a total disaster!! we were at a local store at midnight buying something for our 19 month old son to have from Santa.
