Put it together myself in about 45 minutes despite two "helpers" stealing my parts. My 2 year old twin boys really like playing with this. It doesn't seem to leak. The drain works great. Lots of accessories. I have had this about 2 weeks and my boys have played with it every single day. So far, very happy with the purchase.
My grandson didn't want to stop playing with this. We are going to get a lot of fun with this
I bought this for my Granddaughters 1st birthday and she loves it. Just the right height for her and my 3 1/2yr old grandaughter also enjoys playing along side her. A nice way to let them play on a warm summer day.
Adorable tropical island water table. All three of my kids (4, 2, and 1) love to play with it! The table is big enough that each of them have their own space. My husband and I joked that we could even add another kid at the table! The only issue I have noticed is that the wheels under the palm tree do not move when water is dumped on it, as they are supposed to. Otherwise my kids love it!
I ordered this before i went to our local Toys R US store... i didn't realize that they had it in stock and it was only $70 and not $80. Anyways... i got the cashier to give me the Toys R US price anyways... i shipped to store and it took like 3 days which was reasonable. The table it self is such a treat... my 2 1/2 yr old and 13 mo old LOVE it... we couldn't take it outside right away b/c it was raining but they played with it for HOURS inside and had a blast.. It is a sturdy plastic and took my husband about 20 mins to put it together. *The holes are not pre done... but it took him little effort to screw holes in*. We did not need a drill or anything. This is better quality then most tables i've seen and comes with lots of little attachments that my kids just loved... some people have mentioned that they have a problem with it leaking... we had a weeeee little drip from the spot the water is drained but that's it... it's outside anyways and it's NOT an inconvenience. It has plenty of room for 3 children to play on it with room to spare. it's a lot of fun and my kids loved it... :-) The pictures below is b4 we added the water.
We bought this for the grandson' s first birthday. He loved it and so did his three year old sister. As soon as it was put together and filled with water, they started playing and played for two hours. They couldn't wait to start again the next day. It is sturdy, easy to assemble, and easy to drain and keep clean. I highly recommend this product.
My son has only had this for 2 weeks and has spent hours playing with this!! Totally worth the money and it's big enough for many kids to get around it to play also.
I was looking at water tables and had purchased a used one a few years ago when our first son was around 2. It was a pretty simple one that didn't have much to play with so it just sat there and eventually we gave it away. I was reluctant to buy another one until our three kids ages 6,4,and 1 were playing with the neighbors pirate ship one. I was very surprised how much they liked the neighbors so I looked at that one as well as this Step2 tropical island one. I decided to buy the tropical island one for three reasons. The first is that the neighbors have the pirate ship, second is that the tropical island was $20 less expensive, and third we have a little girl and thought this was not so gender specific. The kids went wild from the moment we took it out of the box and I was trying to put it together as they were all trying to play with it. It was actually very chilly the day I put it together but that didn't stop my three kids and two neighbor kids from having a blast. I could not be happier with my purchase!
I love the size of this water table, it allows for three or four children to play. I was disappointed that the slide and diving board do not snap into place, they just sit on the rim. the pump is to hard for little ones to pump. The red spinner does not snap into place either which makes it kind of hard to spin because it just floats off the piece it sits on. The parts that are supposed to spin in the tree when water is dumped on them don't, its like they aren't lined up correctly.
I bought this for my daughter's 2 nd birthday. I was a little disappointed when a lot of the water features didn't spin as they were suppose to when you poured water over the tree part. The splashing part that shoots out water isn't great. She can't press it down because it's too hard for her. Then when it shoots out it's in sperts. I would not recommend this item. When looking at all if the water tables I'm glad I didn't buy the cheaper ones. Lord knows what that would if been like.
