I bought this combination sand and water table for my grandson's 1st birthday in May. Grandma and he have played in it every time he has come over since then. He loved playing in the water from the start, and is still "warming up" to the sand. It assembled easily, and we have had no problem with the plug leaking, as others had mentioned. It is just the right height for him other than the water tower being too talll for him to reach the top, so grandma is the one who scoops the water into the top, and he enjoys putting his hands into the spillway. It is nice to have a cover for the sand. It would be nicer to have a cover for both sides, since leaves and bugs get into the water, and because there are cats roaming, we must keep the cover on the sand side.
the year and a half toddler loves this. the water wheel is fun, and he plays with the little squirt toys i got to go with it he loves. he's had it for a week and wants to play with it all day long.
This water table is a lot of fun, with a few minor drawbacks. First, the tower is always falling off or falling apart. Second, I wish I had a lid for both sides. Since it is outside, the uncovered side gets fairly dirty, even after one or two days out. On the plus side, my 1 year old can reach the water (although he prefers to stand on a stool), but older toddlers also like to play. I also like that there isn't too much water or sand - it's easy to replace fairly often.
I got this for my 3 year old for his birthday and it was a huge hit with him and his cousins. I had worried that it might be too short given the dimensions in the site, but it turned out to be the perfect height. We have not had the opportunity to put sand in it but have used the water table side. The accessories it comes with are great, with the exception of the water slide. I expected from reading other reviews that it might fall over, but the whole side unit keeps completely falling apart. I super glued the pieces together today so hopefully that should fix the problem, as it's a neat little slide. Overall, it's a great table! Sturdy, lots of options for play, and fun for my kid.
Love the sand box. Perfect size for my granddaughter. Sand easily gets in the water side so the only thing I wish they would do is give a cover for both sides
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its sturdy doesn't tip over. But the water shut doesn't stay together. Plus it's hard to take the tower itself apart to put the water shut back in. Needed a different design for it. Thank you
Great little table! My kid loves it and stays entertained for hours. Wish there was a way to lock the water wheel in place though. The boats keep falling apart but my daughter loves the table regardless of the boats. There is no drain in this table but it was not an issue for me because it's easy to dump out the side and we don't have to worry about any leaky drains. Great purchase and easy to assemble!
Good quality and good price. Daughter likes to play with sand and water. Too bad I couldn't find the umbrella that goes with it on the web.
The table has plenty of room for other toys. My 3 year old had a pool party about 10 of his 12inch action figures. The water pour feature that comes with the table is great too, it just doesn't clamp in very securely. Otherwise, I would have give. 5 stars!
The table is basically as described and could be a lot of fun, but the Water Tower does not hold together well and that is the most important of this purchase.
