My son is 18 mos old and loves his wagon...we were at a party where he first played in one...the kids were toppling over each other on who gets to sit in it...so we bought one for my son and even when we're not pulling him around ...he likes to just sit and get in and out of it! It's so roomy that he has space to put some toys in it and play inside the wagon happily. He's also able to pull and push the wagon easily himself - when we do pull him around in it, it's easy to navigate. The only thing to watch out for is installation of the wheels is not so easy...took my husband a couple of hours to put together...bit expensive compared to non-covered wagons but overall, great product and highly recommend!
I was a little hesitant to order this thru the "site to store" without seeing or testing out the wagon first. But I read of great reviews. And sure enough, it was GREAT!!! It was easy to put together. And my almost 2-year old daughter just loves it. It's a fight when we get out of our SUV because she wants to ride in it all the time. It's easy to control and it's like a ride to her. I recommend it COMPLETELY!!!
This wagon is wonderful. I bought this wagon for my twins (b/g) first Birthday. It was so easy to assemble. I did it myself in about 10 min. My kids love it. We take daily walks around our neighborhood. The wheels are real rubber, not those awful plastic ones on most wagons. They hold up great. I was worried about the straps holding my children in their seats because they are of a smaller frame, but they work well. No one has fallen out yet! I'm looking forward to taking this wagon with us on our upcoming trip to the zoo. This wagon is wonderfully fun for both kids and parents!
We bought this product 2 years ago for my son when he turned 2. He loved it then and he loves it now.. weve taken several trips to zoo, six flags and this is a great product.. lots of storage, very roomy, accomodates parent and child, and easy to maneuver.. needless to say my son loves it, because he can see out, yet protects from sun. how cool is that.. now 2 years later, it has still held up. He fits comfortably in it along with my now 1 year old daughter safely buckled in as well. This puts parents at peace of mind and you can just enjoy the walk and watch the kiddos.
We love this wagon... We have twin girls who are almost 2 years old. The hated being in their stroller (front to back) the one that was inthe back was always pulling hair of the one in the front. We thought about getting a side by side dbl stroller but they are so bulky so we went with this. The girls LOVE it. They just sit and look around as we walk. they love the cup holders and the hidden storage. We love the canopy that keeps the sun from hittig them directly. We have taken the girls out a number of times and we are always stopped by people asking about the wagon. Quite possibly the best child based item we have ever bought.
My Mother bought this wagon and the tag along for my sons first birthday. The assembly was a snap and the wagon is great. My son loves his new wagon. The safety belts are a plus, allot of riding toys don't have them. My friends call it the Lexus of wagons... Its great...
This wagon was actually much larger than what I had expected. The kids really enjoy riding in it. I thought that the wheels would be the soft/inflatable type, but they are a high density soft plastic material that I think will be very durable. I was pleased that they were not those hard plastic wheels that make so much noise! The lock on the door is kindof hard to open, but I guess that way the kids aren't constantly opening and closing it. I would also recommend making some sort of padding for the seats...I would imagine that little bottoms would get sore if they rode on that hard surface all day. I think this is a really neat product. It is large, so be forewarned about taking it in your vehicle. The top is supposed to come off for transportation, but even so, it is pretty long, so it wouldn't work with a compact car unless you had a huge trunk.
My 2 year old son loves his wagon. He wants to be in it every chance he gets. He loves having the door and the storage in the seat as well as the cup holder. I love that I have a cup holders of my own as well as a place to put my keys and cell phone. This wagon is a dream. It has everything for everyone. It's in daily use at our house, I wouldn't have even thought about another wagon. Though the price is a bit much, I think you'll find that you are glad that you spent the money. As for assembly, I had it put together in 30 minutes. I'm sure someone that is handy would have had it done faster, but I'm a real girly-girl and yet still managed to do it! Don't just wish you had this wagon, get it!
My 9 month old twins love riding in this wagon everyday. I even feed them in this more often than I do with them in the high chairs. I wish this can be pushed as well as pulled -- my neighborhood road is hilly and it's hard to pull my twins (20 and 25 lbs) up the hill.
After ordering the wagon and receiving it damaged the first time and missing parts the second time, Walmart as well as Step 2 finally fixed the issues and I was able to get a new wagon, set it up and use it. Overall, the wagon has many pros and cons. To be completely honest, It is VERY heavy to pull even with just my one year old in it. The handle is too short for me to pull him so the wheels often hit my heels as I am walking with him. I am quite tall for a woman at 5'11, but I'm sure it would be fine for someone who is shorter. It is not exactly whisper quite, especially if you are walking on cracked pavement, sidewalks or if you have any drinks in the cup holders that don't quite fit, but it is somewhat quieter than the old wagons are. If you go over any bump, the drinks on the canopy tend to fall out. It is too big to fit into the trunk of my car so if I want to take it to a park, I have to dismantle the whole wagon first an then set it back up again once I get there. Somewhat of a pain, really. On the plus side, The wagon is nice looking. I love the storage, seat belts and side door; all very handy. The canopy is quite helpful from protecting my little one from the sun. My son loves to ride in it. It is very roomy so he can stretch out on long walks. And because he loves it so much I will keep it, but only for that reason. I am quite dissapointed with it really, and I thought after reading all of the positive reviews that I would love it just as much as everyone else, but that is not the case. If my son didn't like it so much and I had the option of this wagon or another, a plain wagon without all the pluses would do just fine.
