I live in a small apartment and needed something to store my yarn in my little closet. Worked great and I can still fit my vacuum cleaner in the closet. Plenty of storage in two lower drawers. Two lower drawers hold about 20 skeins of yarn each; ie. Red Heart Super Saver. The top drawer is not very deep. Would be good for sewing notions, ie. threads. If I had room I would buy another one of these storage towers.
