I am a teacher of math at a middle school and we constantly use colored pencils, regular pencils , (please parents, don't buy cheap pencils, they don't save money because they sharpen poorly) markers, and thin colored pens to make math more fun and these pencil boxes are the right size to store them all . Because I bought the consistent siize for everything. They store easily on the shelf, they just need a label and the kids are all set. Your products as a whole are easy to use and durable. Love them. .
My toddler son just received this box as a party favor and since then he is been keeping most of his priced possession like crayons, favorite candies, pencils, lego blocks ,glow sticks etc in this box . And pencil box is also a perfect fit for his backpack. Love the transparent color through which I can track what is going in the box and the lid is tight enough to avoid any mess in house. My son is a happy little customer of this product and so am I.
In my classroom, I have one large 3 drawer cart (another primo product from Sterlite!) at each group of 4 desks. On each cart is one pencil box. It houses extra pencils, highlighters, erasers, and colored pencils. These pencil cases have been dropped many times but have never opened up to release the contents. I find this invaluable product to be a great organizational tool and a wonderful time saver since the students no longer have to ask for a pencil, eraser, or a highlighter when they come to class.
We buy new pencil boxes every year, even though they last through the years. These boxes go to h*** and back with my kids, being dropped, kicked, crushed, etc They somehow survive! My kids want a new pencil box every year though, so we donate our old ones to the school.
Great product with many uses. I store sewing threads, buttons, ribbons, pins, etc. in them individually by item. They stack well and easy to view contents. Have been using them for years and love them. More durable and less costly than 'sewing' boxes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I use these pencil boxes in my classroom. I fill them with manipulatives such as dice, counters, dominoes, flashcards, markers, thumbtacks, brads, and so much more! I then label the side with a professional label maker. Stick it on and voila! the boxes stack 5 high in my cabinet and two rows deep. the kids read the side and are able to handle the boxes as needed. I LOVE the stackable design! Thanks for letting me share! Erin
Sterility makes nothing but great products, but I have to say the school totes are the best for my crafting projects. Easy to stack and by labeling the ends I can stay organized allowing me more time for beading. My husband got me started using them in the craft room and what a wonderful idea he had!
I bought this for my son who is 6 and very rough on his stuff. His school supply box is still in great shape after one year. I'm thrilled!
This product is amazingly drop resistant I dropped it from 10 feet while full onto concrete and only minor chips and scratches happened but it cannot have other items dropped on it or it will get major damge such sa shattering on the lid because the lid is weaker plastic
After getting it home from the store we noticed the lid didn't stay closed. My daughter had her heart set on decorating it, so we did even though the lid wasn't staying snapped closed. This issue I thought I could remedy with just a bit of bending. WRONG! It snapped, the whole lid snapped right across the middle. So...can't take it back because its been decorated, and can't use it because its busted. AWFUL IN EVERY WAY!
