Purchased these totes for Christmas storage. Very pleased with construction and with the price for four of them. Had to wait a week to get them but I picked them up at the store and did not have to pay shipping charges. I would highly recommend this item.
We were pleased with the totes except didn't notice till we got home that one was cracked already.
I received this box with four totes inside. The protective box was very flimsy. Two of the totes bottoms were crushed and three of the tops were crushed. I took them back to the store and exchanged for two crates, not crushed. Walmart needs stronger boxes.
Nice size. I like the latches. Good color. Clean which is unusual. However, bit of an odor as usual and could be sturdier. ALL FOUR FLIMSY LIDS WERE CRACKED. Went to the store to get replacements which were also on sale and they only had tons of bottoms. Tops were all broken. There is no customer service number I could find. Could not open right away and am now stuck with broken lids. Wal-Mart WOULD NOT LET ME RETURN since none in stock. NEW STERILITE CAN BE A DISAPPOINTMENT COMPARED TO THEIR OLDER MODELS. Have 100's. Wish they would be produced stronger and with no odor and/or oily film. Or powdery dirt. Packaged better perhaps with paper between and cardboard corners and top and bottom protection.
The tops are weak, these totes are suppose to be stackable but if you put another tote on top the bottom tote top gets stress marks like the top is about to collaspe. I only had christmas paper and lights in the top tote but the tops are not sturdy enough.
