This is a well built table... easy to assemble (need at least two adults who can each lift at least 50lbs). Have only had it a few weeks, but excellent so far, lots of compliments!
I bought this ping pong table for my husband's birthday. The only difficult thing was getting it home from the store. It's very heavy and difficult for one or two people to handle. I chose this table because it has the metal around the sides. It's very sturdy and we enjoy plalying on it. It seems like it will hold up well over the years.
This table comes in a 6' x 6' box strapped to a pallet and requires a small trailer to pick up. Walmart is the only store we found that ships site to store for free. All the other stores want $100-$200 shipping to your home. We opened the box and carried the seperate pieces into the basement. The assembly was very easy. However you should have (3) people for the final assembly. The table is very sturdy and does not move if bumped into during play. I would recommend this table to friends or family. The table easily folds up and can be move around with the large caster type wheels.
After doing quite a bit of research, we opted for the Stiga Aerotech table. We used Walmarts ship-to-store option to save a hundred fifty plus on shipping. Box is a little over 5 feet by five feet by 10 inches or so. It comes wrapped to a wooden pallet for extra stability (which helped as we had to rest of wheel well of truck--no issues). Setting up was pretty straighforward--took my son and I a couple hours. Probably could've went faster but we took our time and made sure everything was correct. The table itself is perfect for us! Its nice and solid. My son (11) and I play daily on it for about 2 weeks now and its still as solid as when we put it up. It has plastic corner protectors and a nice thick metal siding. We do not fold it up and down so cant really comment on that (there certainly is a 10" or so gap when folded up for single player play though). Overall we are extremely happy with the product and well worth the three sixty we paid for it!
Good sturdy table
This ping pong table is great but big and heavy. We had to ship it to the store because it was huge and the shipping cost was also huge. This saved us money but we had to find a way to not only bring it home but carry it upstairs ourselves. Just some things to think about before purchasing.
The product is fine after your complete the assembly. However, the handbook has been very roughly written. I have assembled at least 20 furniture in my new house and find this one is the most difficult one to assemble. I have made mistake and took apart and assembled the product twice. If the handbook was rewitten more clearly, I would not have made the mistakes. As I mentioned, it is fine after you assemble it. I like the feature that I can easily move it around. It is also reasonably sturdy.
