Great for indoor/outdoor use

I specifically purchased this clipboard so that I could use it outdoors. I needed something that could tolerate a windy day, some light drizzle, and the potential of falling and being dropped on the ground.<br /><br />This Officemate clipboard serves my needs well. The inside space is generous and holds a lot of pages. Opening and closing is easy, and the latch is sturdy and reliable. I've never had it accidentally open and dump the contents - which would be maddening. The external clip is great quality, what you would expect of a good clipboard.<br /><br />The pencil/pen compartment is a nice touch. It is not really big enough to hold more than a couple of writing utensils, but it does keep them handy and allows you to carry spares.<br /><br />The surface is pretty nice. It gives a little as you put pressure on it to write, but not too much. As with most clipboards, I find it is better to have multiple pages on it for better writing quality than just a single sheet against the surface of the board.<br /><br />For the good price and great function, this is a five star product. It does the expected job perfectly.

I needed 24 clipboards for my classroom so I ordered two sets. I only received 2 clipboards :(. I was able to get a refund but this advertisement is incorrect they don't come in sets of 12. Overall they are good quality if you are looking to pay for a really expensive clipboard.
