This was easy to put together, and looks great in the nursery. The color and style matches our DaVinci Parker crib perfectly, and it's not even the same brand! We haven't used it yet, but we haven't seemed to notice the drawer problems other posters have talked about.
We purchased this along with the Rochester Crib & they look great together. My husband found it very easy to put together & finished it in no time. I shopped around like I did with the crib & found that we saved more money at Wal-Mart than at Target or Babies R Us. Plus, they offer free shipping site to store, so we just put them in my husband's truck when they were ready to be picked up. We would definitely recommend buying this product.
exactly what we were looking for, works wonderfully and looks GREAT! i've attached a picture of the dresser fully set up* it can hold many baskets and baby needs, great purchase!! : )
Easy to build and it's much more sturdy then we thought it would be!
I bought this changing table right before my daughter was born. I thought it went perfect with her crib, and plus it helps alot for post-partum moms who do not want to stress out your backs by bending on the bed just to change diapers or clothes. Its a must need. The best part is any woman can easily put it together. I was too anxious to wait around for my fiancee to do it, so I did it myself...belly and all!!! Its a great price for the buy. The only downfall is the changing pad that originally comes with it is really thin. I did have to buy a changing pad apart . Either than that, I recommend it to everyone.
I put it together all by myself in about 2 hours. So excited and proud, all I had to do was put the drawer in and I was done. The drawer went in but not so smooth, pulled it out and it fell off the track and dented the nice shelf that sits below it. I thought I just hadn't gotten it on the track right but after trying several times I realize that the length was about 1/2 inch long for the drawer - it would sit flush on one side and have a small gap on the other. I had written the model # to call the company but my husband came home and by using a couple washers was able to make it work. Otherwise it is a beautiful changing table and seems very sturdy. its shelves are reinforced with a bar under the bottom. it came with a pad and a belt to strap across the infant for safety. For the price it is beautiful and the drawer is deep enough to fit a regular (hard plastic) box of wipes. It goes back the whole width of the changing table so you can put a lot in the drawer plus you have two shelves! I would purchase it again and hope that the drawer was cut better next time.
This changing table matches our natural crib perfect! However, the drawer was to small to fit!!!*** After reading some other reviews on the darker model, we added some washers to make the sliders stick out more. Now it works perfect! Overall happy with everything.
This unit went together easily and is very attractive, (for pressed wood). The one thing I'd advise is to purchase upgraded drawer slides right away. The stock slides are cheap which makes the drawer not pull out properly and it feels as if it's falling off track. I installed (ball bearings) 16" Accuride 3832SC self closing slides. No modification to frame just take of the stock slides and bolt the new one in the existing holes... voila! Works great now and doesn't have that cheap feel. New slide is only about $10. I have no other complaints other than the cheap pressed wood... but for the price it's a good value.
This is a very good product for the price. I'm all about skimping and saving money so I really didn't want some extravagant changing table. Just don't think it's necessary. So this one is perfect. It's very sturdy and nice looking wood. Exactly what I needed and wanted for my son.
I am sorry to say this, but this changing table was the first disappointing product made by Storkcraft I purchased so far. First of all, the wooden parts of the table didn't match in color (seems like half of the parts were quite a bit darker than the other half (I purchased this table in "natural"). Also, the biggest wooden part, the drawer front side, had a huge dark swirl, which made the whole table look ugly and even the lightest parts do not match other furniture in "natural" I got from Storkcraft. (I posted a picture but it looks a lot worse in reality). Aside from appearance disaster, the assembly was a real pain (took me more than 3 hours to put it together, compared with less than 2 hours for the crib, which was a lot more complex). The instructions were somewhat confusing, not specifying which bolts to use on which sides, so halfway through assembly I had to go back and undo several bolts and screws. However, my biggest concern was the drawer which is not sitting in place correctly and falls out on one side because the rails are installed too far apart from the rollers (the rails are pre-installed at the factory, so you have to undo the factory screws and put a piece of cardboard or wooden plank on each side of the rail to hold the drawer in place - I haven't done that yet as I'm thinking of returning the whole thing). Also, the safety straps provided with the table are useless - I put my 3-month-old nephew on the changing table and he just pulled the straps apart with no effort at all. Overall, I would not recommend this particular model. I bought it because most the reviews were good but now I realize I should've paid more attention to the negative comments, because I experienced same things.
