I have a difficult time visualizing measurements, so when I got this home and put together I was disappointed about the height. I'm 5'8" and it is as tall as my neck. I have to bend down to see what's inside. Also it did not come with a clothes bar. I ended up buying an adjustable shower curtain rod to hang clothes on.
Was thrilled with the price. However, it is a small piece of furniture. I failed to notice the dimensions when I ordered. You would think an "Amoire" would be a tall piece of furniture.... I would still reccomend this as a small childs piece.
This armoire is very nice and sturdy for the money. It's smaller than I expected, but perfect for a childs room. It will be perfect when my daughter is older because she will be able to reach inside it easily.
This product looks good once it is put together. It does take a long time to put together, and not all of the holes lines up the way they should. However, once I got it together, I really like it. If you are expecting a solid wood piece of furniture, that is not what you are going to get. There were several places where the laminate wood finish chipped off, but it was on the inside. so once it was together, you can't see it.
Adorable armoire, easy for my husband to assemble, lots of room and easy-roll drawers. Only thing missing is a hanging bar inside to hang clothes on. I just went to a LOcal home/hardWarE Store and got a tension rod, installed in minutes and now have a hanging bar for all her little clothes. Good quality for the price.
We found this armoire to be a wonderful addition to our new baby's nursery. It was relatively easy to assemble and when built was very sturdy. We opted to not use the shelving inside the cabinet and instead hung a tension bar to hang clothes. It is only 5 feet high so you can also easily place things on top, i.e. blankets and baskets. You must pay attention to the dimensions if you are looking for something larger. NO REGRETS...definitely worth it!!!
I was happy with this line until my husband went to tighten the last screw in the front of the Armoire and the board split. Now this piece looks bad, unlike my crib and dresser.
I bought this piece because it matched the changing table and crib that I purchased. The directions in assembling this piece are horrible. It took me and my husband over 4 hours to put this together and then again pieces would not align properly. I would not recommend purchasing this product, you are better off buying something that is already assembled and saves you time.
The description of this armoire online states that it has hard wood parts, however the ONLY pieces that are truly hard wood are the curved sleigh pieces on the top. All the structural components are particle board, which I should have anticipated, but relied on the description given online instead. This was tough to put together and the screws included are tiny and one mistake means cracking, chipping or all together breaking the particle board. If you get this, save the cardboard information on the outside box that states how to order new pieces or where to call if hardware/pieces are missing--you'll most likely need to replace some of the particle board pieces. Also, when you put on the doors make sure to loosen the hinges so that the entire door doesn't just pull out of the particle board--like ours did. What a pain...my husband is a mechanic and had trouble putting this armoire together and making it sturdy! If we could take it back now, we would. It does look nice when put together, but not worth the money!!
I put this together myself and after seeing the finished product I have learned my lesson about buying furniture that has to be assembled. It's just not as sturdy as something you'd buy from a furniture store. The color and shape are nice, it doesn't look too bad, it just feels wobbly to me. The price wasn't bad compared to the other baby furniture I looked at on other sites and in stores, but I don't expect this piece to last as long as those would either. Overall, it looks pretty good and it'll work for now but at some point we'll have to invest in something more permanent.
