This armoire is quite nice. Lots of composite parts, but the parts that matter most are solid wood. It was relatively simple to put together. It's a little shorter than I thought it would be, but just the right size for kids. It's very heavy and quite sturdy. Great buy!
When I got this piece it did have a little place on top where the paint had come off but I touched it up with white out. This piece did take a little while to put together but it is worth the wait. I love the size. I also wanted a bar to hanger clothes so what I did was get a small shower curtain rod that was adjustable and it works perfect with no drilling. I also changed the handles to pink crystal knobs. It is perfect for my white and pink nursery.
The item was packaged very well so there were no scratches or dings. It did take a little while longer to put together then I had expected. Drawers slide nicely. Looks very cute in the nursery. We will be adding a hang bar to hang her tiny little clothes since it didnt come with one. Luckily it came with 1 adjustable shelf that we can just take out and put the bar up. No big deal.
It is very pretty but very hard to put together!!!!
so anxious to get this in and had it was so frustrating that so many pieces did not properly fit like one would imagine.I had to continuously put together then take apart to make everything fit and towards the end,the hinges for the doors didnt fit and one of the bottom drawer rails was put on wrong by the munufacturer now i have to wait 2 WKS TO GETPROPER PARTS IN H,HOPEFULLY THIS WORKS.AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This product was sent to me with unfinished pieces. Some of the pieces were missing holes and therefore I had to go and borrow an electric drill to drill holes into the wood where they failed to do so while manufacturing. Then to top it off, the directions aren't very clear for putting the doors on. So after drilling the missing holes and almost completing this four hour project... I messed up the doors b/c I didn't know how to put them on while referencing the directions provided. The cheap wood where the hinges are supposed to be screwed to diminished as I was trying to fit the door into the hinge. This is a 100 + lb product and being a female who lives by herself, I'm stuck with this product b/c I dont' have time to take this thing apart and then load it into my car by myself to take it back to Wal-mart. :( It's sad b/c I actually the aesthetics of the product but now it's missing a door.... Definitely not worth $250.
