I really love this crib. It was so easy to put together, and it looks great. I haven't had a chance to use it since my daughter is not here yet, but I know it will be a good crib. I did have to order another small plastic piece as one of ours was cracked, but I was able to superglue it back together, and got another piece ordered hassle-free. Overall, a great crib!!!
The Storkcraft Sandra crib is a great crib!! It is made excellently. Strong, sturdy with an excellent finish. Worth twice the cost in my opinion.
When I received this product all the parts were there and my husband had the crib up in no time. very easy assembly!!!!. It is very easy to take the side up and down and you can do it with one hand just as described. I just can't wait until our bundle of joy arrives so he can use this beautiful crib. It was definately worth the money :)
We were very happy with the finished crib. The only complaint we had was that the instructions were glued to the bottom piece and would not come off. This made it difficult to read the directions while looking for and putting together the crib. Luckily, it was relatively easy to assemble, but we have put together many projects of this type.
For my second child in less than 2 years, I knew what I wanted and more importantly needed in a crib. My needs: 1. Caster wheels. 2. Drop side. 3. Adjustable mattress height. 4. Easy assembly. 5. Affordability. This crib fits all 5 needs. So far, I'm very happy with it. (Just for a note, my first child has a Delta crib, which I LOVE. But, it has many more bells and whistles than what it is I actually need for number 2. The only thing I like better so far with the Delta crib is the no tool, easy assemble the Delta crib has.)
FYI -I couldn't get the vaule up to 4 stars. So my comment is for 4 stars on vaule and not 1. Same thing for meets expectations, 4 starts on that too. I was surprised as to how light and small the package was when I picked it up at the store. As I was putting the crib together, I was having second thoughts as to the sturdiness of the crib. But afterwards, I felt confident it was a strong and durable crib and would be able to safely hold our grandson. Putting it together was simple, except when it came to installing the bottom board that holds the mattress. It took two people to get that installed. Over all we are very happy with the crib. My wife likes the one-hand rail feature.
So far my husband and I love this crib. Since it will be a couple of months before our baby arrives we are not sure how it works with a child in it, but it seems pretty sturdy. We love the look and it was easy to assemble (if my husband can do it without cussing, anyone can)!!! We have not yet figured out how to use the one hand drop rail release mechanism which is why I rated it overall 4 stars. Maybe it's just due to our inexperience with cribs. Definitely for the price, I would say it is well worth it!!!
This is a very nice crib, but I would have also liked to have the matching changing table to the crib. Although Walmart does sell natural wood changing tables, it is not the exact style as the crib.
I needed a new crib for my 10 month old since hers was involved in the Simplicity recall. The crib I originally wanted wasn't available so, I went with this one because the picture looks nice and it was cheap. As they say you get what you pay for. The wood is a lot lighter then the picture shows, it is also very poor quality wood. On the bright side it was very easy to put together, I did it in about 15 minutes.
I purchased this crib for my third child, looking for a temporary cheap fix (my middle child isn't quite ready for a toddler bed). Here are the differences that I noticed comparing this crib to a higher quality product: 1. The wood is cheap and easily broken. The side railing arrived broken and my husband broke another piece of railing just picking it up. 2.The base for the mattress is solid rather than springs. 3. There are two height adjustments rather than the standard three. 4. The bottom wood pieces that the mattress set on are unfinished and wood doesn't particularly match the crib.
