One cannot go wrong with STP products for fuel additive. I was dealing with possible dirty gas or something going on in the motor and after a few highway uses of this sread apart just so I could figure out what's going on did the trick. I have never been let down by stp products depending on what you're seeking whether it's to get rid of knock or to boost octane to keep engines running clean if you feel like you're getting dirty or too low of a gas octane
I use 93 Octane in my 93' F-150 8cyl 5.0 and a bottle of STP octane buster and the results are worth the extra money. Gets much better gas mileage. Starts and runs better all around. the extra power you get on the interstate or highways whether it just be passing or pulling the trailer exceptionally the better. I've been doing that for a couple years now and I've had no issues whatsoever and I've had no problems. if you do want an extra performance sandwich recommend this STP octane buster. it is price decently compared to everything else.
I used cheap octane boost from the dollar store and nothing. I looked up reviews on line and this product had the best price point or $value. I like the small bottles. Here in CA my car pings even with premium because of all the alcohol. Now that I can get fuel outside of CA this product makes regular gas almost premium. Manufacturer reccomends premium for my car.
Works great. Pretty small bottle, but I was able to fill up my sons quad twice with the amount of this that I needed to mix in.
Works great! I drive an Infiniti and put 89 in my vehicle. When we go on trips, we like to use 87 and this to save on some money.
It seems to work as advertised. We seem to average 2 to 3 miles better a mile when we use this product.
This is an excellent value for an octane booster. With the sharply rising price of fuel, the price of premium gasoline has jumped sharply in comparison to the rise of Regular Gasoline. In my Turbo engine, the higher octane is needed for the engine to run smoothly and to keep the economy up. It's more economical for me to buy a bottle of octane booster than it is to pay for a tank of Premium fuel. For the mix volume, this STP booster is easily the best value on the market to keep my car running smoothly.
This is great for increasing octane if you may have inadvertently added regular unleaded to a vehicle that should have premium unleaded gas. Also good in general to give your vehicles system a solid boost. Would recommend.
need 2 bottles to feel a difference in performance . 1 bottle too small yikes ..
im a formally retired mechanic. i know certain vehicle's need higher octane but honestly i never saw a deference in drivability for normal commuters. perhaps people may see a hp increase but for a daily driver ? nada
