I love this phone. For a thirty dollar phone it is awesome. I had a phone my grand daughter gave me and I couldn't do anything it had no storage spIgot this one and I really like it. I would differently say it's a great phone.
Been using this phone for a couple of yrs. and it's well worth what I paid...ten dollars on sale. Still wondering why fools pay close to a thousand for those other phones!!!!
Its unlocked and can use micro sd card up top 32gb run fast good quality for the price im recommend
Im use these phone short time, but for the price run fast and its really easy to use...
Yes this phone works with safelink. Just be sure to use the original sim card when setting it up. I bought 2 different at&t compatible sims thinking I needed them, well 3 hours later we finally figured out I had the wrong sim card inserted. Minutes later my phone was set up.
First of all, I am NOT using this as a phone. I bought it simply to use as a streaming music player. Any Android phone can be used as a miniature tablet without paying for phone service at all (using wifi). For 10 bucks on clearance, how could you go wrong? I use Pandora and also stream an out-of-town radio station direct from their website. Works great. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the headphone output is on the low side. But I'm not using this with headphones (I use my actual phone for that), I have this connected to one of my home stereo's line inputs.
For the price, this is a good phone with a lot of features I would not expect. I chose this phone as an emergency replacement when my older Samsung Galaxy Ace style phone stopped charging. Upon setting this phone up, I was impressed by the larger screen, light weight, ability to add memory with up to 32GB micro SD card, and faster processing speed than my older, more expensive phone. Once I got the phone set up and started using it, I also discovered many updates to security and functionality. The wi-fi works, the calls are clear and network still as expected. All great things, so why the two star rating?!?! If the review stopped here the phone would get a solid 4 rating, and maybe a 5 after adding apps and checking battery life, but the SD card does not stay mounted. I have no idea why, but the SD card, which is securely in place, keeps "unmounting" from the phone. That means the maximum memory I can expect from this phone is 8GB--still larger than I had, but not what I was expecting, and not what I want for long-term use. I have to take the cover off and remove/reinsert the card multiple times daily. The lack of external memory capabilities bothers me, since I want to be able to keep pictures and other data in a removable format. I did purchase the insurance, and recommend it to anyone who buys this phone, as after three days use, there are already issues with functionality and features. I didn't give the phone a 1 star rating because it still works for phone calls and wi-fi, so it meets my needs for now. I would not recommend this phone for long-term use or as anything other than a quick-fix phone unless you don't plan on needing more than 8 GB data and plan to store all your data on a cloud.
The first and most important thing is that my staff and I have big trouble trying to even answer the phone. You have to slide an icon on the screen but we have all been unable to even answer the calls because the phone will not respond to repeated swipes. The other annoying thing is that you have to press a button on the side, sometimes more than once to get the screen to come off. The screen goes dark almost immediately (may be a setting that I can't find??) Why not the recessed button at the bottom of the screen where it is conveniently located? After trying hard to make this work, we are going to go to the trouble and inconvenience of returning this phone and finding something that works.
It comes with 4 gb of memory though it is supposed to have 8 gb and it overheats on the charger. I had to factory reset from the bios because it was turning its own screen off and deleting my data stored on the device.
Make sure if you order online Wal-Mart activate on their part. Had to return it.
