This was a gift for my mom but I did set it up for her and downloaded some apps. The stylus is awesome very responsive and you can use it instead of your finger if you want to navigate around the phobe. You can also use it to take quick notes. The cameras are nice I personally have the lg g4 and its a lot like my phone. She really likes it and has figured out how to use it quickly.
I bought one of these for myself and liked it so well that I bought another one for a friend for Christmas. The screen size is good and looks great when viewing pictures. I've had several LG phones and use this one mostly as I would a tablet for business. So far I am well satisfied.
Love this phone. Upgraded from a samsung s3. Fast on web and pulls in a better signal than my husbands s4. Large screen is a plus since i work with alot of documents and like the added bonus of the stylus. Took me a while to get used to the volume up / down and power buttons being on the backside of phone...but a double tap on front screen will shut off the screen instead of using the power button. I am on straight talk network and seem to get 4g everywhere on this phone, even in rural areas. Camera and video quality are comparable to my s3...however the stylo seems to take video with low light situations and my s3 did not. Decent speaker sound quality...not as good as my s3. Samsung has better screen quality wherein colors are more prevalent, but the stylo does not dissapoint with lesser quality color...the big screen is more of a plus to me than an amoled screen quality. Love this phone
Purchased mine at Walmart store. I asked for the 2yr warranty. Charged it, put my 64gb memory in and notified Straight talk.(CHAT) In under an hour my existing number and minutes from my old phone were ready to go. I have read some comments about faulty phones. Walmart will take them back in 30 days or less.(With a receipt.) Straight talk will not. I chose a warranty past that to hopefully not have the same issues as others. In all its been super easy for me. I love mine!!
this phone has a nice display. thin phone..youll want to order a case along with the phone bc a drop will destroy it outside of a case. i like the navigation "buttons." stylus is a nice feature. if you buy this phone for pick up at walmart or at walmart be sure they scan it at the register, not just with the handheld scanner in the electronics dept or pick up desk. I did this and got home straight talk was unable to activate phone i had to drive back to the store to have it scanned at the register. For the money you cant go wrong with this phone
I got this phone on sale and its a nice phone. Big screen, stays charged, and does what i need. The only things that keep it from getting a 5 star rating is the small storage space but you can just put an sd card in and use the expandable memory and the camera is okay if you're in the light but if not, the pics are horrible. Overall, im happy with my purchase and would buy it again if i had to.
The storage keep saying its full and I completely deleted all items from phone. All pictures on my storage card are black until I select one but loading it takes forever. The flash on the camera only works sometimes. I am not please with this phone but I have been in the past with other LG phones.
Phone worked great at first but then lost all my contacts one time. It started to power down by itself and then the touch screen wouldn't work. And don't count on Straight talk to stand behind their product. Technical support was no help. They suggested a master reboot and even that required a touch screen which they should have known. They would consider replacing but first had to send back phone and then wait a week before you would receive another phone which doesn't help when you need a phone now. No postage paid label or anything. Would not send a phone right away. Poor customer service. I definitely do NOT recommend this phone or Straight talk. There are better providers out there.
this phone did not have reception in certain areas that I did have with my previous (much cheaper) phone. There is no way to make it stop trying to roam when it does not have signal, and then it takes 20 minutes or longer to come out of roaming mode even when it should have signal. The only way to make it reconnect immediately is to shut down and restart. The Bluetooth function did not work well at all. The quality of communication was so bad when using the Plantronics M70 earpiece that it was unusable.
Worked well for a few days. SIM card went bad and Straight Talk's support is terrible. Arranged to have new one sent. Called to follow up on the day I was to receive it and they had not record of talking to me and had to start over. Still waiting to receive the new card and see if the phone will start working.
