I needed to replace my damaged AT&T Galaxy SIII. I considered a new AT&T phone, however the prices were outrageous. I set out on search of a budget friendly phone, that had the newer OS, faster processor, and uses the Verizon network. The Galaxy E5 does all that and more. Faster processor, 5.0 lollipop, and uses the the Verizon towers. Easy to use, nice bright screen, and great battery life. $199 vs $600 the E5 is a winner.
I had previously bought an E5 for myself about 5 months ago, and have been very pleased with this model so far. My husband's S3 was already starting to wear out, so purchased an E5 for him as well. He's been very happy with it. The battery life is very good, I have no qualms about the processing power or memory. One drawback, not necessarily a major one at that, is the lack of cases for it on the market.
Great price, great phone for what I will use it for. Big screen for these old eyes..
My daughter has a Samsung Galaxy 6,and says this phone is just as good! It's easy to use and I love it!

Phone is pretty nice but my only complaint is that it does not seem to have the speed of my old Verizon Samsung S5 phone. Other than that the phone will work well just a little slower than I am used to.
I received this phone yesterday. There are many pros and cons to this phone, but it did arrive before the arrival date. At first I loved this phone (icons, brightness when I'm outside, fast navigation, and multi-tasking) until last night. The brightness doesn't go down, so it's hurting my eyes. I was able to find an app on the Samsung Download to dim the brightness, but it's not for the whole screen. If you like to read at night or just dabble on your phone at night in the house and you have sensitive eyes; it's best you don't purchase this phone. I'm getting my money back and shall start to look else where.
I purchased this phone because I loved Samsung phones in the past. 27 days later it died. took it back to Wal-Mart on day 32, they said sorry its over 30 days. You'll have to send it in. I sent it By Fedex the first week of April. It's now May 1st, and still no phone, no info, no contact from company. With having purchased the extra warranty. Three weeks in a row when I called customer service they said it's being sent now, you'll have it by Friday.
