Mother in law wanted a radio for her bedside, just a plain radio. Very hard to find but this was perfect. The old style design is great
Bought it for my father as a Father's Day gift, %26 he loves the fact that it reminds him of an old studebaker
Wanted a small radio for our Screened porch. Only had a small shelf close to plug-in for one to set. This one works great!! The radio is cute, sounds are good being outside.
It's a decent little radio. I can't get headphones to work with it, though. And the dial isn't accurate but still gets the job done. It's as attractive as it is in the picture. Good for the office.
The radio is great for the price. I have bought others for more and they have provided a worse reception . it is not perfect but is good enough
Smaller than pictured, poor sound
Not to in pressed with reception. Doesn't hold some radio station very well also has problem holding volume. I just may have a dud?
I can 't really recommend this radio. I bought it because I liked the retro style, and thought it would look good in my kitchen. It does, but it really isn't a very good radio. First of all, it's smaller than you might think. That's OK, but it does make seeing the tuning dial a little hard. Also, the on/off/volume knob is very small, smooth and tapered, making it hard to grip and rotate. Not at all ergonomically designed. finally, there's the sound. The speaker is actually quite a bit smaller than the outer grill and the sound is rather thin and tinny. Also, on certain AM stations there is a rather annoying high-pitched whine. I ended up removing this from my kitchen, even though it looked good, and put my old SONY radio back. I put this one on the garage near my computer, so I can listed to ballgames. It's OK for that, but not for primetime. Basically, it's a cheap radio with good looks. If you're OK with that and want it just for light, casual, or emergency use, it's fine. But for a quality radio that you're going to use a lot, no.
Does not work. Had a tech check it out, he said no good. I bought another kind and it works perfect.
hard to turn on little knob but thats ok cause it done stop workn pice well you know
