I received this bath mat to test from Summer Infant. It came at a perfect time as I was on the hunt for something to help ease my sons (18 months) fears during bath time. He just always hated the bath, and cried the entire time. Set up was quick, and took 4 AA batteries. I loved that it didn't take long to put together, which is important when you have a naked 18 month old boy running around the bathroom!!! The bubbles came from around the mat, and were a constant stream of bubbles. My son was so distracted playing with the bubbles he didn't mind me washing him or being in the bath at all! This was HUGE! THe mat is a perfect size which my son sat right in the middle, surrounded by the bubbles. I also loved the suction cups on the battery pack and the line connecting the mat to the battery pack. That made it easier for me to not worry about it slipping into the water, and also kept it away from me washing him. Overall, I believe this product is a must for anyone with a nervous child in the tub. It's a great distraction that adds fun to the bath! It is also really functional, as it is a great bath mat that is gender neutral!
