[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this baby gate! Very sturdy, yet attractive as well. The auto close and hold open features are wonderful. Installation was a breeze and the little ones are kept safely away from the stairs.
It's like Fort Knox. Even some adults have difficulty getting through this gate.
well made, easy to install, self closing, and attractive.
My daighter & son inlaw receved & put together the gate & said how impressed they were with it. I bought for them to put where they open the hallway door to the basement in case someone left the door open there is a 2nd safety feature. It's wide enough to fit and with the gate opening both ways it doesnt restrict adults.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is the perfect color to match the floors in our house. I love how sleek and modern it looks. The design of closing behind you is so perfect. I love how it also has the option to stay open if you need it to. It was extremely easy to set up the gate. The instructions were simple to follow and you have the option of mounting clips to the wall or pressing straight up against the wall. We opted to mount straight to the wall with out clips. I'd say it was a 10 minute set up. It is very easy to open and close for an adult, but a child is unable to open it. I have a 3 year old as well as a 16m old and neither are able to open at this time. I am using this to keep the children out of the laundry room and it also keeps out dogs in. We haven't has any issues with the gate in the time we've had it. I would highly recommend this to a friend. It is seriously the best gate I've seen on the market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this gate for about a month at the top of our stairs. It is really stylish and goes well with our decor. The only thing I don't like about it's appearance is that the lattice inlay is plastic while the rest of the gate is metal. I love the auto close feature for when my hands are full. You can also push it all the way open at it will lock it into place and keep it open. This gate has been a game changer for us, allowing us to let our 16 month old roam more freely when we are all upstairs. Our 3.5 year old has also accepted the boundary, even though I know he would be able to open it if he tried. Also, it was very easy to install.
I got this thinking the decorative panel was metal but it's plastic. Makes me a bit nervous when kids lean on it and when dog scratches it to go out.
I bought this gate tonight and it is gorgeous but I have spent over 2 hours trying to install in. The bolts on 3 out of 4 screws got completely jammed to the point where they won't move at all and the gate is not at the point where it will shut. It is stuck on my wall because of the screws but the gate won't shut so now it's event more dangerous than it was before because my baby keeps going in and out of the gates and jamming her fingers. Ugh as frustrating
The style of the gate is nice, and it is relatively easy to use. However, our 22-month-old figured out within a couple of days how to use the lattice as a toe hold. He began climbing up the gate. This defeats the purpose of the gate, and is unsafe. We returned both of these for different ones. A total redesign is needed!
I bought this a few days ago. The top lock doesn't work. It doesn't even reach to where it is suppose to lock. My son is 11 months and can easily push the door open. If you're thinking of buying this just don't. Use your money on a gate that actually works.
