I bought 1, tried it on the lake and then bought another for my wife. She loved it. Very stable, easy to get in and out of. You could tip it over but you will have to work at it. We have taken them down to the river and they work great even in the shallow areas. Actually took them down some "rapids", well not too rapid and they worked great. Easy to carry back up. They are comfortable to sit in for a couple of hours just enjoying paddling and floating around. We got two more so we can have friends come with us. The paddles that are included are good and sturdy. This kayak is very maneuverable, easy to control and will get up and scoot across the water without a lot of effort. We have had so much fun, I can not recommend them highly enough.
I'm certain that many "serious" kayakers would turn their nose up a the thought of buying one of these but like the majority of people I'm not out running rapids but taking my kayak out on the lake, getting some exercise, sun, and doing a little fishing. These are great kayaks for the price (so good I bought 2). They are stable, track straight, can handle some decent sized waves and are quite light. As one other reviewer noted, you could turn it over but you'll have to work hard to do it. The kayaks come with a seat back support but I went on Amazon and purchased two seat bottoms for a little more comfort. If you are looking for an inexpensive recreational kayak then look no further and get one of these, you won't be disappointed.
