A friend of mine had purchased the sun joe chainsaw with pole and when I saw how lightweight it was and easy to handle, I went online that day and bought one. I have a lot of tall trees and branches in my yard and I didn't want to get on a ladder - this does the trick. After telling my brother about it, he borrowed it and also loves it.
I already had a Sun Joe pole saw and love it, however when this came out as a convertible hand held I had to try it. It's a fantastic tool, cuts wood like butter and can be used on all types of wood on my property.
East, straight-forward assembly and works like a charm. My husband (69 years old) said it was better than his Stahl hand-held. I'm 67 and (while I do pride myself in good strength for my age) found it too heavy to hold using the long pole. Otherwise, we are extremely satisfied with the product.
The Sun Joe Electric Convertible Pole Chain Saw-10" (SWJ807E) is easy to use, light weight, and chews through wood like a hungry beaver. I used it last weekend to trim small limbs and branches from several large trees. The chain stays sharp and the motor provides ample power to handle the hardest wood. I can recommend this product for the average homeowner who doesn't make felling trees a second job.
I was tired of dealing with issues getting an older gas powered chainsaw working on a regular basis, and decided to try electric. Since I have some taller tree branches that need trimming, I decided to look for a pole saw, and I was happy to see this combo that switches from pole saw to normal chainsaw. I had hoped for a larger blade, but this was the biggest I could find with a combo unit. I'm very happy with this saw. I've cut through logs and branches that are near 10" with no problems, and it's so much more convenient that mixing gas and old and trying to start up a gas chainsaw. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Great saw. Absolutely cut every branch I needed cut from 8 inches to 2. I'm experienced, my first electric saw, it cuts as good as my $800 pole saw that's down. Highly recommend this saw.
My husband gave this to me for my birthday and I couldn't be happier. So far I have used it just one time and it worked great. I like the extension feature. I call it my chainsaw on a stick. Thanks for a good product.
This lil guy works better than the video . I wish id of bought this much sooner ... only dosnside is now i need to get your woodchipper for all these cut branches ..
This is the best price and quality pole saw money can you buy, I have two products and both works very well.at first I said I am going to give it a try and kept my receipts just in case.but let me tell you don't waist your money in expensive tools unless you run a business.this tool will do the same for less money !!!!!
I do not know if the product works. The packaging was taped up like it was a return - that was shipped again as new. I am returning it for a new unit.
