I had used this product for quite some time and then suddenly I couldn't find it in the stores. A friend of mine also was trying to buy the Sun Oxygen Cleaner. I decided to try on the internet to see if I could find the product. I was so pleased to find it at Walmart so I ordered 9 containers: 3 for my daughter, 3 for my friend and3 for myself. We also consider it a very good product and at a reasonable price.
I use Sun Oxygen cleaner in place of Oxy Clean, does the same job but cost a lot less. I will always buy the Sun version instead of Oxy clean.
I asked a friend how she kept her white work shirts so...white, even though she works as a food server and her shirts get really stained. She told me about this product, so I tried it. I found that it works just as good as the name brand from the commercials, if not even better. Much less expensive also. AND with less harmful chemicals. I order online because my local store doesn't carry this, only the oxi brand name. The only issue I have is the giant container; it's a much better value, but I find I need to dump smaller "servings" into another container for ease of use. This tends to result in a little cloud of dust that I don't really want to inhale. Other than this (very small) issue, I would highly recommend this product.
This is a great product. Better than the expensive stuff. I use this product in my homemade laundry recipe. I use 3/4 cup in the recipe because you don't want to burn your clothes. I've been making homemade laundry detergent for a while now and I will never go back to "Name brands and paying way to much money for they products." Just added this to the recipe or even just add a scope (that's comes in it) to the name brand ones and it adds more cleaning power. Great Product. ***Note: When you read this review the comment under how long I've owned this product. I've been using this for about 5 to 6 yrs now. And I use the product on a daily basis. And there is no scent for this product. And we are a family with sensitive skin. And yes no allergies to this great product.
This stuff works just fine, but is way cheaper, by over half, than Oxy Clean. I ordered it, online, because it's often sold out, in the store, and online, I know it'll be there when I go to pick it up. I think it works just as well.....
I am using this in my homemade detergent. I found several instructions on how to make it and one of them recommended this product instead of Oxy Clean because of the ingredients. I did a search on a site that rates ingredients for safety and this one rated high.
Love this stuff! Great value! Absolutely great at getting stains out of cloth diapers, with any of the chlorine contained in other oxi bleaches, and at a much better price.
I make our own laundry detergent and usually add "the other brand" to my mix. Walmart was out of the other when I needed it, so after reading the other reviews, I decided to try this. I have used the new mix several times and see a dramatic difference in the way the clothes look after laundering. Colors are brighter and the fabric seems softer and there's nothing wrong with softer jeans.
I've been using SUN oxygen cleaner for years. My wash comes out clean and stains are removed. I feel like this product gives the detergent a boost. The price is a real plus!
With a tight budget, I try to save money by buying either store brands or brands that are not the household name products but do the same job. I was actually going to buy OxiClean, but came across the Sun Oxygen Clean on the Walmart website. I am glad I did. The Sun Oxygen Cleaner was a larger size for less money. I've washed white clothes that were discolored by bleach use as well as a little stained and found that Sun brightened them up very nicely! I also did a load of lighter sheets and loved how clean they also came out. I would recommend trying the product, but can't say whether it is better than OxiClean because I have not used OxiClean. I do like the value of Sun. Try it and see what you think especially if you've used pricier Oxi.
