It is a basic model and It works great and worth for the money. One mistake I did is trying to use this on a carpet floor and only later found that we shouldn't do that. Use this (or any weighing scale) on a hardwood floor.
This was exactly what I had been lokking for I had a digital bathroom scale was never correct
I was going to buy an electronic digital scale, but decided to buy a mechanical scale instead, since they are much more reliable, and never need batteries. Of course, they are not as accurate, but not needing batteries was more important for me.
a very good value for the money. the only thing i've noticed is that the needle sometimes shifts off of zero (when nothing is on the scale) but this is easily fixed by turning the dial on the front of the scale... so i just have to make sure the scale reads zero before i get on it. i think this happens because my floor is not level, though.
Its a good, basic scale and and at a good price. As for durability...Ive only had it a short time so we shall see.
This is a great scale for those whom are interested in a cheap but effective way to keep track of weight loss. However, the dial is off by five pounds, so when you step on just subtract five pounds. Great and affordable for college students whom want to keep track of weight.
