JUST AS ADVERTISED--THE GENTLE WARMTH IS SO COMFORTING. MY ONLY SUGGESTION -- I WISH THE "ON" LIGHT WAS NOT SO BRIGHT AS IT REALLY IS A BIT ANNOYING.
~I purchased this to help keep us warm in my drafty old house this winter & by golly, it does just that! It's not a "fancy" blanket, but gets plenty warm enough on the lowest setting to suit me. Haven't seen how it washes yet, but since it's between my sheet & comforter, it won't really matter much! I'm happy with it...!~
I was pleasantly surprised. The blanket feels lightweight and yet provides tremendous warmth at low settings. the nice thing about the controls is it's simple to cut off with a quick flick without having to adjust the temperature setting as many require.
The blanket is excellent and the value was fair. My only problem is with the power switches. It features a push type power button and it is too easy to accidently turn the blanket on. I would have preferred a dial on power switch. Other than that, the blanket is great!
Good, affordable blanket that suits my needs. Great for the price. I just can't see spending more money for a warming blanket, especially since no one will see it but me. Not to say that it's unattractive--it looks fine. It keeps me warm, it works well, and it's affordable, which is all that matters to me.
Being it's been some 20 plus years since my last electric blanket purchase (AND, at Wal Mart), I've had mine (full size) for about 1 week now. Being I live in the Seattle area, ofcourse it doesn't get THAT cold here, but I live in an all electric apartment with electric heat, and either it gets TOO hot in my bedroom, or, not warm enough. This blanket? A ' fantastic' solution indeed. So the color choice I had when ordering wasn't the greatest, who cares. And, unlike another review I saw from someone up here, no, the wires are NOT 'too bulky'. So....as long as the thing never shorts out, or, starts a fire, I LOVE it. P.S. Wow, I think the last time I got an electric blanket was / cost, oh, about $20 bucks. Oh well....times/the economy has changed :(.
This blanket is great for me and my husband because I am always cold and he is always hot. It has dual controls so I can be nice and toasty and he can leave his side off. Now I can get into an already warm spot on my side of the bed instead of having cold feet and trying to warm up before going to sleep. I have been falling asleep faster.
This product performs the function for which I bought it-- to keep you warm; however, it sheds something terrible. I put it on my bed and when I took it off, my sheets were COVERED in lint, which wouldn't even come off in the washing machine. I guess I should try a lint roller. Not to mention, it gets my clothes all linty, especially when I am wearing dark colors. I would recommend this product to people who just really want to be warm and do not mind getting lint all over them.
THis is not a bad blanket for the money. It does just what you would expect but may not be the nicest looking blanket. Seems kind of thin but it does do a nice job of warming the bed. I do like the setting fo different levels of heating and the auto shut off after 10 hours. Not bad for the money.
Not what I expected at all. The blanket was flimsy, and left lint all over the sheets and comforter. The wires were large and bulky, and it stopped heating after one week. When we contacted Sunbeam customer service, it cost almost as much to send the blanket back for "repairs" as it would to buy a new one. Definitely would NOT recommend.
