I have dark brown wicker furniture on my large front porch. I wanted something that would blend in and provide storage for all the ugly gardening tools and supplies I use to maintain my flowerbeds and potted planters. This Wicker Deck Box fit the bill perfectly. I can now store a lot hidden in plain sight, including all of my hand tools, gloves, and full bags of potting soil or fertilizer. I even fit a big bucket used to hold bird seed inside the storage box. Bonus: It makes a great bench too! PS. I love the handles and wheels, which makes moving it easier.
I have had several other storage boxes that were not as nice or a simple to put together. I learned the hard way never buy white or beige outdoor storage for within a year or two they are filthy in permanent color damage. This was by far the easiest storage box I ever put together, not tools, simple to put together in approx. 15 minutes maximum. I highly recommend this product.
I got two this to use on my Lanai and to store my christmas decorations. It was so easy to put together. The instructions were very easy to follow and finally someone found a way to do something without needing three different sets of tools. Just snap it together.
This box was just the right size for the 25" space we had available. It was very easy to assemble (If you're able to read and follow instructions), and seems to be water tight, so far, as we have had some pretty hard rains, and the inside has stayed dry. So far we have been very satisfied with our purchase, and the quick delivery, and just hope it lasts a long time. We also wanted this particular box, as it could also b used as a seat for two people, if extra seating is needed. Most deck boxes are not rated to support people sitting on them.
This deck box was very easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. I did meet some resistance when attaching the lid to the hinges, but a few taps with a rubber mallet locked the lid into place. The brown color and wicker look matches my wicker furniture and the inside is larger than expected. The price was lower than other competitors, plus with free delivery to my home, I didn't need to haul it home. I would recommend this deck box.
Perfect fit for 4 patio dining chair seat cushions, 3 seat cushions for conversation seating set and 4 throw pillows. Had a little trouble snapping the lid into 2 of the hinges. Got so mad and frustrated I finally sat on it, pouncing with all my weight and they finally snapped into place. Still gave it 5 stars though, because I love it!
fast ship,looks great, perfect size and color for our deck. all as described. would have rated 5 stars except instructions are not clear. actually easy assembly if instructions were clear.
I bought this because my new seat cushions didn't all fit in my old box. I wanted one that could be used as an extra seat. I am 5'3" & it is really too tall for me to sit on comfortably. It is a little weak in the middle but I don't weigh that much so it's fine for me & the kids. I wouldn't recommend anyone over 150 lbs using it as an extra seat. I love the color & design other than the height. I even have extra room inside for pool towels & pillows. I do like the wheels to help move it inside in the winter. Otherwise I would need help to move it.
This deck box looks nice, holds all our outdoor cushions, and was easy to assemble. Though the lid doesn't latch, it does keep everything inside dry - through the heaviest downpours. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that the description states the box can double as extra seating, but the lid isn't thick/strong enough to hold an adult without bowing.
I've been a fan of Suncast for many years, but the 73-gallon wicker deck box I purchased three weeks ago does not meet even basic standards of quality. Assembly was easy but nothing lined up. Sides didn't line up with the back or the front. This made attaching the top to the box an impossibility. After wrestling with this inferior product for what seemed like days, I packed it up and returned it for a refund. Walmart was wonderful about the return, which I appreciate so much, but Suncast is no longer a product line I'll consider.
