The review submitted by suburbangirl is exactly my story! I looked everywhere for weather-proof affordable chairs and couldn't find anything under $200 per chair, either online or in stores. Then I got an email from Walmart and this chair jumped off the screen! I ordered four in white and also got seat cushions. They are so much better than what I expected. The chairs are sturdy, really well-made, and so attractive. They are easy to get in and out of, which is important when entertaining elderly friends and relatives. I'm very, very happy with the value and the price and for not making the mistake of buying adirondack chairs, which is what I was looking for originally. These are so much prettier and you don't see them in every yard. Everyone who has visited so far has admired them and found them very comfortable. Fantastic product!!
I had been looking for wicker/rattan chairs in this style for my deck, however I couldn't find anything sturdy for under $150-$200 PER CHAIR. I happened to stumble across these in my local Walmart by accident and was blown away at the price, the look, the durability, and the comfort!! They do not come assembled, but they are super to assemble by yourself in about 15-20 minutes. I bought four of these chairs for less than what 2 of the others would've cost, and they are perfect!! Everyone who sees them or sits in them asks where I got them, because they want to go get them too!! The great part about these chairs is the storage compartment under the seat. I bought chair cushions and pillows for each chair, and the storage area is large enough to fit both a seat cushion and back pillow in it and still shut. And the really nice part, is that it stays dry!! The first night I tucked my pillows away it rained like crazy and the next morning, while everything else was wet, my cushions/pillows were completely dry!! I was amazed!! I would completely recommend this product to ANYONE!! I consider these my best purchase of 2015!
Chairs are heavy and will not blow away. They are comfortable within or without cushions and easy for us seniors to get out of and easily handle some of my “fluffy” friends and family. Will not rust unlike all of the metal chairs. Luv Luv them.
Once my husband and I put these 2 chairs together they look very durable and attractive. It took about an hour for the first and less than that for the second one. The directions could have been more specific and would have been easier with a better diagram.
This Club Chair is Absolute Genius. Beautiful, comfortable for larger persons, easy to assemble (1 hour or less) and best of all for my location it will not rust or corrode from the salt air. It's not too heavy, one person can move it around easily. It feels really sturdy and has a Big storage area under the seat. I purchased Brown and it's a dark brown, I'd call it ""Espresso Brown"". Thank you again Hayneedle for offering something that nobody else has that is absolutely fantastic. I Highly recommend this Suncast product.
Easy to assemble looks great.
.I'm replacing a wicker set of storage chest/table & two chairs that deteriorated after a couple years in the sun with two of these chairs (and also the coordinating Suncast Elements Storage Coffee Table...the chairs are sturdy and more functional looking than the delicate wicker chairs I had before but they are still attractive and hopefully I won't have to replace every few years as I did with the resin-coated wicker set.
I bought two chairs and two side tables to furnish the deck. I had previously had wood and metal furniture and because we live by the ocean, their life span was very brief. Molded plastic should survive the salt and dampness much better. They are attractive and because all the pieces have storage space inside, very practical. We keep the cushions we bought in side the seat of the chairs at night. The tables hold a variety of items we often have to carry out if we want to dine on the deck.
I Like it a lot. It's made out of plastic but don't let that be a reason not to buy it because it's a good quality plastic, You can tell is durable, strong, and can even hold a very heavy person. The quality is amazing it's a pretty big size and I can tell it's gonna last a very long time, regardless of the weather.
45 minutes for assembling 2.. Not too bad. Ellderly mom gets in and out essy. 19 x 18 x 3.5 cushion from walmart fits ok for intended purpose. Paid too much in my opinion but wanted sturdy and made in usa. Cushion and pillow fits under seat snug. Once cushions take a set theyll fit better. Hope they stay dry but just in case i put in plastic garbage sack.
