when in a favorable place and height. Initially the unit would stop unexpectedly or make a grinding sound. After trying the unit in different spots in the garden, we found the perfect place. It would need a more powerful spray to garner 5 stars. Otherwise very pleased. See photos.
Had the product in my pond for approximately 10 minutes and it barely flowed any water from start to when I took it out and returned it to the store. How disappointing
We could never get the fountain to go over 2" high even in direct bright sunlight. I returned the fountain and got my money back.
I loved the idea of a solar fountain! And it was great....for about three hours! Then the sun went down and it never worked again. We called the manufacturer to see what could have gone wrong. They said to take it back to Walmart...end of story.
The previous reviewer got theirs to work for 3 hours, I couldn't get mine to work for longer than a minute - in full sunshine. I loved the idea of a little solar fountain to add to my little pool I keep in the backyard. It gets full sun 80% of the day so I figured it would be worth it. It's not. There is another version that is more expensive. I might try that one - this one is definitely going back to the store.
The product only worked around noon when the sun was overhead. The pump was also louder than expected and stopped working the same day. I'm returning the product.
I thought a solar fountain,no electric i can do this!!!! Wrong worked maybe 5-10 min. You could hear grinding but no water. I have a solar greenhouse,so i have lot's of sun. maybe later you'll come up with one that'll work.
bought this product a few weeks ago picked it up put it in the pool on a bright sunny day and it would not pump water,looked at the directions to see if i had missed anything nope took the screen from bottom off and no cover no impeller called company and they wont return a phone call, its junk and dont waste your money on it,nice idea but the company is not standing behind it....blame this on the company who makes it not walmart
I did not expect anything fabulous but this thing is really bad. It worked for 2 days then started making noises & will not work if you put one of the attachments on it anymore. I would return it if I had the receipt. It only sprays about 5 inches high at most. Hardly enough to even hear a sound. I put this in full sun & the "motor" was working correctly at the time. Don't waste your money.
I finally received the fountain yesterday. Today, it stopped working. Waiting to hear about warranty.
