We bought and installed the pavilion last summer and covered it with a 12' x 14' sail shade; enjoyed it all summer. It provided a large open space that covered a 52" table and four large chairs, where we dined all summer long. The frame is built out of 1" x 1" square steel tubing that has a coating to give it it's aged-bronze finish. It is not powder-coated! We left it out all winter and noticed that some sections have been dripping rust water on the patio - we'll paint the sections showing signs of rust this summer. To reduce the amount of corrosion, we installed square steel tubing caps in all of the open ends of the frame, about 2 dozen; and 8 hole caps around the base. This helped eliminate the amount of water that could get into the hollow frame and start rusting from the inside. We also sealed any opening where water could seep into the hollow tubing. This seems to have worked well.
After a trying time getting delivery -- took almost 3 weeks, incorrect information, wrong tracking numbers, etc. -- it finally arrived. The actual delivery guys were nice enough to actually bring it to the location we we're going to build it rather than leave it at the curb as some other delivery folks have done in the past. It took us about 6 hours to assemble, with 2 to 4 people working on it. End result is truly as advertised, and rather impressive.
