This works very well. did what it was intended to
I used it on a metal ring purse strap. Otherwise would have to find someone to weld
Very Handy product that works!
Good stuff
Bought this to replace epoxy putty that had dried out. All you do is cut off a bit and knead it like it was modeling clay to mix. Once mixed, it will harden in about five minutes, so work quickly. I recommend wearing rubber gloves with the stuff because prolonged exposure to epoxy resins can lead to allergic reactions, and the effects are cumulative. When mixed, it has a rather nasty smell. However, it's great for use as a filler for things like stripped out screw holes and other household applications. The stuff does get harder than most wood, so be careful drilling, sanding or otherwise shaping. It does the job, but I wish they would make a less stinky product.
This epoxy comes as a roll sort of like a jelly roll. White on the inside and green around the outside. It is an ugly putty gray color when mixed. Does dry very hard. I used it to replace parts that were broken off from an antique china head doll. I was able to fill on larger missing gaps s that were about two inches by two inches. I had to build in up from top of break a small area at a time. But epoxy dries in a time frame to allow good working time but not so long that I had to wait more than 10 minutes to add more to the patch. I do have a complaint in that the outer layer on the roll had very hard areas where it appeared to have dried. These made for chips of hard green chinks while kneading the epoxy and had to be picked out. Very annoying. I do not know if this was because the rolls were old ( I had just purchased two days before), and perhaps had been on a shelf too long.....But the chips were hard and sharp. Chips that I did not get out had to be picked out from the and had to be refilled.. I intend to try other products that are similar and might will find one better. I would have liked a white better than then the gray too. However, this product did make the repair I wanted. It adhered to the china, hardened well, I was able to sand the surface smooth . Would maybe recommend depending on what you need it for.....But I will keeping looking for a better product...
Not good
