You write with it! It works! I like it!
Perfect to refill mechanical pencils. Once we figured out how to open the lid I love it. Look at the back of the package so you know to slide it sideways and get writing!
I really like how small these leads are, they fit perfectly and always write as if just sharpened. I had other lead, but it was too big around, and just felt like it was very dull. I will definitely be buying another of these.

It's lead for mechanical pencils. Mechanical pencil refills, basically. Not much to review. You just put it into the mechanical pencil and go on your way.
My kid likes it. It's their preferred lead replacement for all their mechanical pencils.

The Paper Mate brand lead was not available; but, took a chance that Pentel brand 0.7 lead would work. They do work but tend to break off. I may have put too many in the reservoir. But I'm satisfied and happy.
Polymer lead ruined smudged 50 % 200 drawing. graphite lead only! Never using Polymer Lead Again. My wife',s Christmas gift including 4,,( .3 .5 .7. 9 ) mechanical pencils polymer Lead Sketch books clip board case. drew 200 scenes. animal etc. am professor electromechanical technology automation instrumentation drafting etc. 79 taking up art. Color blind so black and white. put all 5 x7 ,,%26 8 x 12 into plastic folders. polymer leaked from drawing to back of drawing throughout and smudges all most all to hace to redo all. polymer leaf compacks in mechanical pencils and stops up tips and only smallest pins and sewing needles can push out hardened polymer leads. broke several.3 .5 trying to push out from tips unscrewed. i have 20 yr. old pentel plastic pencil .3 mm and now stopped up as are Metal Mechanical pencils wife bought for me for Christmas to start me drawing again. polymer lead drawingx placed in Brother top line Printer Fax Copiers hace 2, feed rollers slipped on drawings polymer and sneared across drawings. i hold degrees in electronics Technology Am digital pioneer tech writer professor developer draftman sales engineer systens integration najor industrial and commercial medical etc. systems and do consulting drawing and drafting, now have to redo most of 200 drawings all scamned and similar to photo shop attempts to remove smugrs darlings of drawings by grayscale B %26 W etc. did not remiving the smuggling and destroying my deawings. i ordered otge HB polyner leads wanted 2h but Walmart serms not to have 2H and used other brands than pentel polymer leads from Walmart same problems. get back to graphite. switched back to old school wooden graphite lead pencils. polymer lead you owe ke $200 per esch hour as is my consulting rate. 2 hours each drawing plus scanning one page at a time x 200 = $4000 in my time
