I love these felt strips. I used them for a few of my cat statues so they wouldn't scratch my glass shelves in the cabinet. They were very easy to apply and are just the right size for my nick knacks. If you have statues or other items that you need to keep in one place, these are the strips for you. I really needed these because I am redoing my cabinet for my statues and was afraid that the bottom of the statues would scratch the glass shelving and now I don't have to worry any more.
This product works very well under my lamp when I want the light closer I just slide the lamp without worries scratching the table they stick very well I haven't tried peeling them off but I assume by how sticky they are they will stay on for a long time I do plan on using them under my glass cutting board but haven't tried that yet
These felt pads were perfect to add to the base of my lamps that are on top of our piano. The lamps did have a cloth like finish on the bottom, but during humid times they would stick to the piano top. These has caused rings on my pianos finish. I put four under each lamp, and I think they will solve the problem. I'm not too worried about them coming off, since we don't move the lamps hardly at all, but just needed some air circulation under them. Although, the lamps do slide nicely now. I added a picture that shows the lamp on the right with the felt pads on and the lamp on the left without. Adding the felt pads wouldn't be noticeable, unless you compared it to the same lamp without the felt pads on. I liked the shape of these felt pads, rather than the usual circular shape for this use. Also, if you had a lot of things that you wanted to use these pads on, I think I would have only needed 3 (or maybe even 2) per lamp, so this pack would go a long way. Overall, I would definitely recommend these felt strips, not for use with heavy furniture, but for light weight things or desk and tabletop items.
A set of 16 tan strips that pull apart from each other and I pull off a strip backing to reveal a medium strength adhesive strip. I was able to pull it off and replace the same strip to relocate on the lamp for better sitting on my table. Strip stayed in place on reapplication. The strip is soft to protect both the bottom of my lamp and the surface of my table. Very easy to use with peel and place attaching. Great quality protective strips to add a soft bottom to planters, lamps, keyboard, .... Ideal for my smaller items to protect the surface. I love the protection I get by using these self-stick, felt, small furniture strips. Recommend!
I received this product in exchange for my opinion and review. As soon as I received the product I put it on a small iron table I have in the den and it worked perfectly! It does protect the tile floor from scratches, and it is very easy to use, just peel and stick to the clean surface and done! I had to cut some of them to the right size, but much better than the tennis balls I had on the kitchen's table's legs. I also used it on the kitchen cabinets doors that were noisy when I closed them.
We have Cherry Hardwood floors in our kitchen and so we try to protect it from our chairs as much as we can using felt pads under the feet. 4 chairs in particular are always on the hardwood floors, so those ones we are particular about having protecting pads on. The ones we have used in the past often flip off the legs and somehow attach themselves to the side of the foot rather than the bottom. We speculate its from the weight/pressure of someone sitting in the chair and pushing it along the floor (ie when they push away from the counter). I cut these pads to fit the feet of the chair; they cut easily so I was able to get two feet out of each pad. I can't yet attest to the longevity of the pads, but they have been on the chairs upwards of 3 weeks now and haven't had a single issue yet. For the price, these do a great job!
I can't believe how helpful these strips are for my bar stools which are heavy and on hardwood and also tile flooring. Every time someone pulled the chair out I cringed at what the scratch would look like. I would lift them to move and they are heavy and awkward to move around. I cut these to length and the width was perfect. The chairs now don't scratch and the pads stay stuck and are not noticeable at all. I used the smaller cut piece on dining room chair feet. I am putting these on all the chairs in my house. Feels durable, sticky side stays on color is great and protects floors.
I just painted my kitchen laminate countertop to look like granite, and we needed something to keep the coffeepot, Kuerig, etc. from scratching the new finish when we moved them around. These felt pads are perfect. First we cleaned the bottom of the appliance with alcohol and let it dry. Then we cut these thin strips to fit. They are doing a good job of keeping our countertop scratch free and seem to be sticking well.
I found the 1/2 x 2-5/8" Self Stick Felt Furniture Strips, Beige, 20 Pack to be quite a good product. I have a beautiful set of silverware that I want to pass down to one of my sons and hate to have to store it and would rather keep it out displayed. Yet I do not want it ruined. Therefore I have a lamp and several Knick Knacks on top. These strips are able to be used as a whole piece or easily snipped into smaller pieces. I cut several in half and they worked great. They do not fall off like some I have used in the past and moving around posed no issue. They come in beige therefore they are hard to detect. I had no issue removing the backing from the stickiness. The only one down fall or negative I could see is that they are a bit thick so placement is crucial and you need one that you do keep as a guide. Otherwise you will be cutting up far too many in the future fo help guide you to where they need to be placed on your item that needs to be protected.
I began by using these felt pads on a couple of large heavy, hanging mirrors which were scratching the gray and beige paint we have in our family room and playroom. They are not noticeable but are also working great for preventing more scratching. I have also used them to prevent centerpieces from scratching our wood tables. Finally used them for a wooden chair that sits in the corner of our diningroom and keeps marking the wall as people sit on it. Fortunately I have plenty left from the pack of 20 to continue finding ways to protect surfaces from marking and scratching delicate surfaces! The only thing that could be improved is perforation between the strips so they easier to pull apart. Would definitely recommend this product!
