Upon reaching EIGHTY, I have decided on home delivery for the future. I usually order enough to get free shipping and the items are delivered to my door. THAT'S SERVICE WITH A SMILE
Exact need for my Jeep transmission which I faithfully change tranny fluid every 6K miles. I always use Walmarts Super Tech ATF 4 product. However I ordered 5 qts but was shipped 10 qts and charged for 10, weird
Normally this goes in a vehicle that requires this type of fluid. I don't have any of those vehicles. I use it for its friction additive package. One quart of this with the remainder in Dexron 3/4 works well in older Dexron 6 vehicles at a lower cost. Without this the TCC would shudder/slip.
Is Super Tech ATF+4 is just as good as the big brand name payers? I too wondered if all manufacturers that carried the "ATF+4" brand name on their label were created equal so I wrote to “The Center For Quality Assurance Inc.” which is the company that licenses and monitors the quality for all brands that display the “ATF+4” on their label. I asked them specifically if all brands that display the “ATF+4” on the label were created equal since they have to meet the Chrysler ATF+4 specifications. Here is a portion of the response I received that relates specifically to my question. “Only licensed ATF+4® products (with "ATF+4®" as part of the brand name and a valid license number on the back of the label) contain the unique formulation. Other look-alike products that claim to be suitable for use in Chrysler and FCA transmissions have not gone through FCA's rigorous testing process, are not monitored for quality, and are not approved or recommended for use in Chrysler and FCA transmissions where ATF+4® is specified.” “As to your specific question, all licensed ATF+4® brands are formulated to meet the ATF+4® specification and exacting standards of FCA/Chrysler vehicles. Any of these brands are recommended for use in your FCA/Chrysler vehicle where ATF+4® is specified.” So why pay more for the BIG brand names when Super Tech ATF+4 is just as good as the big players and it's less expensive. I for one have been using Super Tech ATF+4 fluid for years and have not has a single issue using it.
Item performed well and is a great value. Ive been very happy with the Super Tech automotive brands sold at Walmart.
I have been using this since I bought my truck, and hasnt failed me yet
This fluid has all the specs required by Dodge and is less expensive than other brand names. Works well in the transfer case and transmission of my ram 2500.
Why pay for the name when it is exactly the same ingredients??
wish i was told it was going to be 3 separate deliveries, 2 deliveries one day and 1 delivery like 2 or 3 days later. I ended up having to go a different route because that job had to be done the same day and i was short 2 qts. But after looking at reviews im glad i returned them cause they are not fully synthetic. Valvoline is the only one out there I could find that is fully synthetic which is the route I ended up taking and glad I did but Walmart does have the best price for ATF plus 4 transmission fluid. I do wish I bought it with cash not my card because now I have to wait 5 to 7 business days for my refund.
Product is as described, and works properly. Unfortunately, for some reason Walmart neither stocks a whole case on their shelves in the store, nor in the distribution center. ordered 8 quarts with free two day shipping, 3 came from Jacksonville in 5 days, and the other 5 quarts sat in a Fed Ex distribution center "on the truck" for over 10 days, according to the tracking number. had to go to 3 different stores to purchase enough fluid to finish working on my transmission, and now have 5 quarts left over. Very disappointed.
