This oil is very oily. Compared to other oils, I'd say this is a 5 out of 7 although my wife doesn't like to bathe in it. Can't blame her she's an asparagus
I have been using this stuff for a long time with no issues in anything. I use in my chainsaw, backpack blower, weed eater, 15hp and 9.9 outboard, RM 125 and ever other 2 stroke i have owned and don't have any issues at all. In my opinion the key is to go a little heavy with the oil as a precaution. Sure it might smoke a little but my chainsaw is over 20 years old and still runs like new
I've been using this for about 1-1/2 years now in my 225hp Johnson and it seems to work fine. It may smoke a little more than other oils (so I've been told) but the previous owner of the boat used it and my mechanic said it's fine to use also. I've read the arguments for using expensive oils vs cheaper oils and I've chosen to stay with the cheaper oils - not much more to say about that.
ive been using this oil for years in stihl cain saws and a stihl leaf blower, never had any oil related engine problems. some guys only want to use the high dollar stihl oil. i bought my 029 in 1998 and switched to tech oil. i also use it in a 290, a 291 and a 170 no problems. i burned thru 2 gallons so far and then bought 2 more gallons. i also used it in 2 old kawasaki snowmobiles.
I use this mixed with gas in my Vintage, 1978 Johnson 9.9 outboard motor on my Vintage 1974 Harris "Flote Bote", pontoon boat. I probably only get out on my boat for fishing about 10 times all year, so this whole gallon should be more than enough for this Summer season. Great price compared to Top name brands of 2 cycle oils . And it probably tastes exactly the same. LOL.
We use this in our coaching launches daily for our 2 stroke engines. Good value and performs as needed. Ordered on-line and got same day delivery to the store within 2 hours. Nice to know I can get it so quickly.
I have used Super Tech in my 150 hp merc optimax engines for over 3,000 hours. Not a single problem.
We have used it before and we are very happy.
Works like it is supposed to. The only complaint that I have is that this oil smokes a little more than the oil I normally use. But at less than half of what I was paying, you can deal with a little extra smoke..... but who doesn't love a 2 stroke smell when the sun is rising over the water.
The oil is Great. The shipping is not good at all. 4 of 6 gallon bottles were broken and leaking oil. What a mess
